The Impact You Will Make

Bully Pulpit International (BPI) is looking for a Director of Marketing Analytics + Ad Tech to play a key role on our Paid Media team and help drive our approach + processes around data enablement, measurement, and future-proofing media.

What the Day-to-Day Looks Like

  • Maintain our Datorama infrastructure, keeping our paid media reporting tools up-to-date and accurate
  • Create and maintain both internal optimization dashboards and executive client dashboards
  • Improve our marketing analytics tech stack, including reach and frequency measurement, viewability partners, audience onboarding, measurement planning, and data enablement
  • Set and measure agency-wide benchmarks for quality, accuracy, and performance across ad delivery. Consistently evaluate targeting and measurement partners, and make recommendations for improvement
  • Implement analytics + tracking tools and site tags to support program measurement
  • Drive advanced analytics (e.g. MTA) theory and implementation
  • Work with Media Planners, Buyers, and the Insights team to automate and streamline data-related tasks
  • Develop training plans for a team of analysts
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and help define future roadmaps for our offerings

What You Bring 

  • A principled, generalist, and technical understanding of the ad tech space. You’re excited to geek out on identity graphs, have directly worked with log level data, and have a strong perspective on the future of R/F tracking in a cookieless world
  • A proven track record of building reports and dashboards that change behavior and drive business outcomes
  • Intellectually curious with a strong sense of data intuition and critical thinking. You think in first principles and are able to spot a discrepancy in a data set from a mile away
