Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Director, Secure Facilities to join our team! In this role you will be responsible for the strategic leadership, operational management, and administrative oversight of multiple detention facilities throughout the US.  This role ensures that all facilities comply with federal regulations, maintain high standards of security and safety, and provide effective detainee management, disposition, and support programs.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Collaborates with federal agencies, law enforcement, and other stakeholders to ensure the facilities operate efficiently, ethically, and in alignment with the clients’ objectives
  • Direct multiple national enforcement operations targeting national security, public safety, and border security priorities by coordinating enforcement, detention, and removal assets across the field offices and overseeing complex operations/logistical planning and execution
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the mission and goals of secure facilities
  • Provide visionary leadership to facility directors and management teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure alignment of facility operations with the federal, state and local policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple secure facilities, ensuring the highest standards of security, safety, and required facility credentials
  • Ensure all facilities adhere to federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as the clients’ standards and guidelines
  • Develop and manage budgets for multiple facilities, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in corrections, law enforcement, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a senior management role overseeing multiple facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of federal regulations and standards governing the secure facilities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex operations and lead a diverse team across multiple locations.
  • Experience in budget management and financial oversight.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make sound decisions in emergencies.

Salary Range: 

$149,900.00 - $310,000.00
