Job Description

RapidDeploy is seeking a highly motivated, energetic hunter to help fuel our continued growth in mission critical public safety software services. The Director of Sales Acceleration is responsible for all phases of the sales cycle at RapidDeploy.  You will be a trusted partner to prospective agencies and an advocate for RapidDeploy’ s products and mission…” Saving lives by reducing response times”.  This role is specifically focused on developing and closing new sales opportunities nationwide and working with these agencies to educate them on the value and benefit of RapidDeploy SaaS public safety solutions.  This is a virtual position with up to 75 % travel expectations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Activate, engage, and empower the broader Motorola sales force to accelerate our sales growth.

  • Engage directly with sales leadership, field reps, and account teams to identify deals and drive deal collaboration and progression between sales organizations.

  • Act as a trusted sales partner and revenue driver, ensuring that enablement efforts directly contribute to measurable bookings and revenue growth.

  • Success will be measured by the sales bookings directly influenced by this role, ensuring a clear link to revenue growth.

  • Seamless integration into the Motorola sales ecosystem. Embed our products into the broader sales motion and foster deep collaboration for continued success.

Essential Functions:

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets

  • Seek to hold prospective customers accountable to their part in delivering to a co-created vision and timeline

  • Maintain current knowledge of the company’s solutions, industry, and competitive differences

  • Clearly communicate RapidDeploy’s value and mission

  • Act as a steward of the company in a professional manner at trade shows, social interactions, meetings and other industry events

  • Maintain accurate and timely sales information in the company designated sales tool/CRM

  • Consistent utilization of RapidDeploy’s sales process and sales enablement tools

  • Be a challenger – understand your target market, issues, decision makers, funding sources and proactively bring solutions that will provide a successful path for sales execution

  • Positive collaboration and communication with all team members across the RapidDeploy organization

  • Availability to travel up to 75%

Target Base Salary Range: $67,100 - $150,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.


Basic Requirements

  • 5+ years selling SaaS Software

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
