Position Overview:

Holman – a Computerworld 2024 “Best Places to Work in IT” company - is hiring a Director of Product Management, to lead the Client Applications product team define and deliver innovative solutions that drive our business forward.

We are seeking a curious, dynamic and outcome driven leader to join our Technology Product Management team within the IT organization. The Director of Product Management will be responsible for overseeing the full product lifecycle for a portfolio of applications used by our Fleet customers – from ideation and strategy to execution and delivery – while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. In this role, you’ll help to shape the future of our software product strategy, the product team, and help to drive innovation.

Responsibilities:
• Product Strategy & Roadmap
• Develop a deep understanding of the users, current platform features, the domain, and always try to identify “what problem are we trying to solve?”
• Discover, define and validate problems presented by user insights, stakeholder priorities, organizational needs, and technical team members.
• Build a clear vision and scope documentation. Define minimum viable product; identify trade-offs between feature set and time to market.
• Ideate simple, creative solutions for functionality needed to move business objectives forward.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on market trends, user feedback, and business priorities.
• Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform product development.
• Stakeholder Alignment
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs, gather feedback, and communicate product plans and updates effectively.
• Cross-Functional collaboration
• Foster a collaborative environment within the team and with other departments (e.g., engineering, marketing, sales).
• Coach teams to encourage a growth and innovation mindset. Ensure team is learning and implementing product management best practices.
• Provide input and lead improvement of product team organizational procedures and processes.
• Set clear objectives and expectations for the scrum teams and ensure they have the necessary resources and tools to excel in their roles.
• Monitor the progress of ongoing projects, identify potential roadblocks, and take corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Oversee the Participating in Scrum meetings and produce sprint plans.
• Data Drive Decision making
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate product success and identify areas for improvement.
• Analyze product performance data and user feedback to drive data-driven decisions for product enhancements and future iterations.
• Leadership
• Oversee a team of technology product owners and business analysts that support a portfolio of technology platforms.
• Assume the role of technology product manager for a given technology platform within the portfolio when necessary.
• Mentor and coach technology product owners and business analysts to enhance their skills and career development.
• Organize training sessions and workshops to keep the team updated on best practices and emerging trends in the technology product management industry.
• Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Relevant Experience and Education:
• 8+ years’ experience, including 5+ at a leadership level
• Bachelor's degree in a related field required, Master’s preferred
• 4+ years’ experience with customer-facing applications

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $189,530.00 - $298,515.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
