We are looking for a Product Director to lead our Capital One Shopping Tooling team. The Tooling Team is building technology that empowers our Sales Team to drive revenue, support the infrastructure that turns sold placements on an invoice into a reality, and provide core business data to inform organizational objectives. Technology and a rapid test-and-learn methodology are applied to nearly all of our business challenges. The team has a flat organizational structure that emphasizes clear ownership, small teams, and leverage through technology.

Role Description

In this role, you will be a key driver of business growth - owning all aspects of the team, technology, and tooling that onboards and executes advertiser campaigns within the Shopping ad platform.

  • Work directly with a team of product managers and engineering to design and build products to execute ad campaigns delivering positive outcomes for our advertisers.

  • Work directly with a team of Product Managers and engineering to develop a roadmap for the Sales CRM to define an effective easy-to-follow workflow for the Sales team, while staying true to business objectives

  • Lead Product managers to understand the core user workflow and CRM use case

  • Own the data strategy between Sales CRm and business/product teams for every step of the selling process

  • Manage the day-to-day product and engineering teams working to build out ad campaign technologies and scale it to hundreds of advertisers

  • Own the business case, prioritization, and monitoring for the business, building a suite of operational reports and models using SQL and excel

The ideal candidate is resourceful, motivated, and self-sufficient, with demonstrated success in spearheading cross-functional projects that drive the growth and success of a business

  • Ad tech: Understanding of affiliate marketing ecosystem and emerging ad tech channels and what drives business outcomes

  • Deep analytical skills to understand Business Operations use case, and develop complex queries such as a priority scoring methodology for possible Sales tasks
