ROLE OVERVIEW

As the Director of Engineering, you will lead the strategic development and execution of scalable engineering solutions that meet the evolving needs of our organization. This pivotal role involves overseeing the product engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence, and ensuring that our engineering processes are efficient, reliable, and aligned with our business objectives. Your leadership will be crucial in advancing our technical capabilities and delivering high-quality products that drive our mission forward.

COMPENSATION: $150,000 - 175,000/annually including the opportunity for an annual performance bonus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be both a strategic visionary and a hands-on leader, setting the direction for the engineering team while actively engaging in technical challenges.
• Partner with product leadership to define the product and technology strategy, shape the roadmap, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Clearly articulate the product and technology vision and roadmap to senior leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment across the organization.
• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive quality strategy, embedding quality practices throughout the engineering process to ensure exceptional product standards.
• Establish and monitor engineering metrics and KPIs, utilizing data to drive decisions and consistently elevate the quality of our products and services.
• Develop, coach, and mentor a high-performing engineering team, promoting an inclusive culture that values innovation and continuous improvement.
• Roll up your sleeves to work alongside the team as needed, providing hands-on technical guidance and unblocking challenges to accelerate progress.
• Seamlessly integrate engineering best practices into agile methodologies, ensuring that development, testing, and deployment processes are optimized for efficiency and quality.
