Job Overview
The Aerospace, Defense, & Marine (AD&M) Business Unit within TE is seeking a Director of PM Finance to provide critical support to the Business Unit and Product Management Functional Leadership to achieve business targets. This position works directly with the Product Management team to drive portfolio income statement (P&L) management, investment decision support, strategic business reviews, and compliance with financial policies and support.
This position is a direct business partner to the Vice President of Product Management and reports to the Business Unit CFO.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnering & Financial Insights
• Collaborate with functional (Product Management) leadership to provide advanced financial insights to drive business growth and goals.
• Prepare and present insightful financial analytics and reporting, including ad hoc analysis for BU management and TE leadership.
• Develop robust short- and long-term financial plans, including a rolling 12-month and 5-year plan.
• Drive the development of monthly product line Profit and Loss (P&L) and disseminate performance results for the Product Management Incentive Plan.
• Analyze variances to plan and prior year and provide management with insights gained from those analyses.
• Consolidate business unit financial information to support budgeting and forecasting (in partnership with FP&A and other Finance teams) to support budgeting, forecasting, and month/quarter close reporting.
Product Management & Strategic Financial Support
• Evaluate investment proposals for new products and capital expansions in support of PAC/LeanPD.
• Review and approve pricing proposals.
• Manage Finance Reconciliation process as part of S&OP cycle. Drive revenue alignment across functions for financial planning submissions and forecast accuracy.
Process Improvement & Automation
• Drive process improvements and simplify workflows within the PM Finance Team to enable efforts on high-value analysis and business partnership.
• Initiate and drive process documentation and automation process to improve functional efficiency and cost to serve. Leverage TEOA (TE Operating Advantage) to support process improvement efforts.
Leadership & Team Development
• Develop and maintain a strong team of direct and indirect reports, acting as a coach and mentor for the organization.
• Exhibit strong leadership competencies including the ability to build and articulate a vision, strong communication skills, and a track record of execution.
• Drive strong environment of compliance and controls and be a change agent advocate. Ensure TE policies, GAAP, and international equivalent are followed.
What your background should look like:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or another related field.
• MBA and/or CPA preferred.
Experience:
• Experience in a global, matrixed company within Manufacturing, Aerospace/Defense industry or similar field required.
• 10+ years of Finance experience, with a minimum of 5 years of FP&A, Product Management, or Commercial Finance experience.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $169,400 – 254,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
