A Director, Offer Management is a highly valued, complex and rewarding role where you will work with multiple teams within the organization to define all of the commercial terms for every deal that Insurity sells. The Deal Desk team is responsible for putting together not only deals that are highly profitable and help Insurity meet our aggressive financial growth plans, but also to make sure we have the right delivery mechanism in place for our customers and are moving our products forward. Your day-to-day tasks will include engaging with sales executives to understand the customer needs, working with Insurity’s professional services and SI Operations teams to determine implementation estimates, facilitating discussion with product management on roadmap items, documenting and approving the terms of the deal and making sure that legal has the info needed to accurately contract the deal. You will interact at all levels of the organization and need to be proactive in working to be an advocate for the sales team on getting deals over the finish line. Very strong attention to detail is needed with numbers and consolidating multiple inputs into a clear, concise package that can be consumed by internal and external stakeholders. What Our Director, Offer Management Will Do
- Responsible for coordinating with internal teams to scope a customer project, working with the sales team to establish a customer price while overseeing the profitability of each deal and ensuring appropriate process flow approvals.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to team members
- Lead and define new team and organization processes
- Present and roll out new processes across all levels of organization.
- Monitor adherence to new processes and course correct as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to scope the services project based on agreed upon parameters engaging additional resources for things outside those parameters.
- Manage assigned estimation requests – including meeting preparations, scheduling, agenda preparation, content and presenter planning, documenting, and distributing minutes and action items, scheduling any follow-up sessions, etc.
- Solicit inputs from Professional Services leadership on the financial, scheduling, and resourcing aspects of a proposed estimate.
- Initiate internal and external communication throughout defined pre-sales process via face-to-face meetings, teleconferencing and email.
- Coordinate development of project proposal documents including estimates, SOWs and RFP responses working closely with all stakeholders including Sales, Legal, Product Management & Professional Services.
- Independently support multiple sales teams with special pricing requests and manages large opportunities with all required parties.
- Use business experience to prepare and present alternatives to leadership on pricing scenarios.
- Review financial data as related to various requests for special pricing and identify possible risks associated with service terms, product descriptions, and price concessions.
- Provides sales teams with guidance on pricing, pricing structure and strategy.
- Partner with the sales team to manage the profitability and approval matrix to deliver pricing for each opportunity
- Uses keen business judgment and financial knowledge to defend and debate recommendations.
- Maintains records supporting all business cases.
- Ensures compliance with internal procedures and government regulations.
- Assists order management and finance in resolving implementation issues, billing issues, and technical issues.
- Ensure team productivity is meeting targets and delivering value to the field.
- Act in a leadership role for feedback loop into the company on street pricing, implementation requirements, and customer roadblocks.
- Identify, address, and bring issues to closure.
- Effectively handle team escalations.
