About this Position
The Director of Transformation Projects plays a critical leadership role in shaping and executing cross-functional initiatives that drive organizational growth, optimize efficiency, and foster innovation.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this role combines project management expertise, operational leadership, and advanced metrics tracking to deliver measurable outcomes, including cost savings, operational improvements, and ROI.
Acting as a central liaison across the organization, you will cultivate a culture of excellence, responsiveness, and customer service while championing innovation and operational improvement. You will also lead strategic initiatives, including the adoption of transformative technologies such as AI, and foster strong relationships with department heads and business leaders to advance company goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Project Execution:
- Lead and manage a portfolio of high-impact, cross-functional projects aligned with organizational priorities.
- Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions to clarify, prioritize, and document stakeholder needs.
- Establish clear project goals, timelines, and resource allocations, ensuring accountability and alignment with company objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.
- Drive innovation by spearheading initiatives such as evaluating and implementing AI and automation technologies to streamline processes and deliver measurable results.
- Operational Leadership:
- Develop and execute scalable processes to eliminate bottlenecks, enhance efficiency, and improve organizational effectiveness.
- Partner with the COO to provide actionable recommendations for achieving strategic and operational goals.
- Build resource plans and manage relationships with external service providers to address capacity gaps and operational needs.
- Create quarterly and annual operational plans to formalize strategies and ensure consistency across teams.
- Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement within the operations team.
- Metrics Tracking and Reporting
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), with a focus on cost savings, operational efficiencies, and ROI.
- Create and present regular reports to senior leadership providing insights on progress, challenges, and actionable recommendations.
- Use data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau to create clear and impactful presentations for senior leadership.
- Identify trends and opportunities through data analysis to optimize organizational performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the operations team and business units, ensuring alignment, visibility, and responsiveness to departmental needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with department heads, practice leaders, and external partners to promote seamless collaboration.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, ensuring integration and alignment of strategies across teams.
- Facilitate communication and issue resolution between internal stakeholders to support project success.
- Team Advocacy and Representation:
- Champion the operations team across the organization, demonstrating their value and impact on achieving strategic goals.
- Foster a customer-service-oriented reputation for the operations team, promoting a culture of excellence and responsiveness.
- Lead initiatives to reinforce company values of collaboration, transparency, and service excellence.
- Prepare and deliver progress updates, analyses, and recommendations to senior leadership, serving as a spokesperson for the operations function.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in project management, operations management, or internal PMO roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver complex, high-impact, cross-functional projects with measurable outcomes, including cost savings and operational improvements.
- Demonstrated success in leading AI or automation initiatives to drive innovation and operational efficiency.
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to track metrics and create actionable reports.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMP certification is a plus).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Strong understanding of organizational dynamics and ability to success in a fast-paced matrixed environment.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate competing priorities and ensure alignment across multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Strong understanding of organizational dynamics and cultural adaptability.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or a related field is required; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $150,000-$175,000.
This position is also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
