BillionToOne's first product, UNITY™ is the first and only non-invasive prenatal test that can directly screen an unborn baby and assess its risk for common and severe recessive gene disorders and chromosomal abnormalities, as well as fetal sex and fetal antigens, from a single tube of blood from the pregnant mother without paternal testing.

In 2023, BillionToOne launched two liquid biopsy products that will markedly improve oncology treatment and care. With Northstar Select™, clinicians will be able to select cancer therapies that will be most effective to each patient based on their individual genetic makeup. Northstar Response™ will enable clinicians to monitor a patient’s early response to these cancer therapies, by measuring minute changes in their ctDNA, which can reduce ineffective treatments and unwanted toxicity, lower costs, and substantially improve clinical outcomes.

BillionToOne is seeking a Director of Recruiting to lead our talent acquisition strategy during a pivotal growth phase. The ideal candidate will drive the recruitment of top talent, matching our ambitious goals with innovators and disruptors ready to contribute to a transformative journey. The Director of Recruiting is a remote position and will report to the Senior Director of People Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Manage the recruiting team to ensure best practices in candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align recruitment initiatives with strategic business objectives.
  • Develop and launch a comprehensive recruitment training program that equips our hiring managers to support disovcovering top talent.
  • Analyze recruitment trends and provide insights and recommendations to enhance talent acquisition efforts.
  • Champion the company culture and employer brand to position BillionToOne as an employer of choice.
  • Drive diversity and inclusion in recruitment practices to support a diverse workforce.
  • Budget management for recruitment activities and resources.

Required experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role at a high growth start up.
