We are looking for a Director, Women’s Health Product to be responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of the team responsible for delivering the roadmap for Oura’s Women’s Health products. This role works in close collaboration with software, science, regulatory, commercial, marketing, finance, business, and engineering departments to define an unrivaled product experience and make it a reality.

What You will do:

  • Drive significant impact across your Mission, R&D and the wider Product organization in areas of high strategic importance to the company
  • Take ownership of leading the Women’s Health product portfolio from concept to market while ensuring the portfolio supports the company strategy and meets defined business objectives.
  • Lead and create a strategic framework to guide a team of Women’s Health product managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with global, cross-functional leadership including product, science, design, engineering, marketing, finance, commercial, customer experience, and QA to deliver the best possible customer journey while ensuring we meet all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Translate external market data (research, reports) and competitor intelligence to actionable insights for the development team
  • Champion the voices of female users, ensuring that Oura’s products reflect their diverse needs, challenges, and health goals.

We have offices in San Francisco and San Diego for those who prefer hybrid or office settings. Oura employees in other major cities (like Boston and New York) occasionally gather informally at local co-working locations.

Requirements

We would love to have you on our team if you have:

  • 10+ years of experience in women’s health related field
  • 5+ years of experience managing, leading, and developing product teams
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams in an international environment
  • Solid experience in consumer (device) product management taking products from PRD definition to commercial launch
  • Deep understanding of women’s health issues, including but not limited to hormonal health, menstrual cycles, pregnancy, perimenopause, and menopause.
  • Background in wearable and health technologies
  • Ability to collect and leverage external and internal data and information
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of products which are in different phases of the product life-cycle
  • Strong storytelling skills: ability to combine technology and business opportunities to a cohesive and compelling story that excites both internal and external audiences
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development
  • Passion for and knowledge of the consumer health tech and women’s health spaces
  • Preferred: MS/BS degree or PhD in physiology or a related scientific discipline Science, Engineering or equivalent

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

    • Region 1: $206,000 - $257,000
    • Region 2: $190,000 - $237,000
    • Region 3: $178,000 - $223,000
