Truveta was born in the Pacific Northwest, but we have employees who live across the country. Our team enjoys the flexibility of a hybrid model and working from anywhere. In person attendance is required for one week during the year for Truveta Planning Week.
For overall team productivity, we optimize meeting hours in the pacific time zone. We avoid scheduling recurring meetings that start after 3pm PT, however, ad hoc meetings occur between 8am-6pm Pacific time. #LI-remote

This Opportunity
In this role, you will drive the roadmap and business objectives for one or more domains within the Truveta Data product portfolio. You will be responsible for understanding the scientific research needs of our customers and how Truveta Data offerings and experiences should evolve to best meet those needs. This role will be primarily focused on Truveta’s third-party data enrichment strategy and how to accelerate Truveta’s ability to meet and exceed these needs, with growth opportunities into other strategic domains. You will work across talented stakeholders to build, own, and execute key parts of the strategic roadmap for Truveta Data.
A successful Director of Product Management at Truveta is one who:
- Is customer-focused, working actively to understand the research, analytic, and data needs of our customers
- Is very detail oriented and unafraid to roll up their sleeves and dive directly into the data if needed to better understand our products and needs of customers
- Loves working in a fast-paced environment with numerous moving parts
- Is energized through cross-team collaboration and building products with a large set of stakeholders
- Is an excellent written and oral communicator ranging from customer-facing scenarios to highly technical internal conversations
- Provides clarity and focus to diverse teams and stakeholders re product prioritization, GTM opportunities, and customer potential
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of leading product management with a proven record of conceiving, developing, and launching successful large-scale data products with a customer-centric focus on delivering buyer satisfaction and great user experiences.
- Strong technical acumen with a deep understanding of big data ecosystems and advanced analytics. Ability to articulate the value proposition of data products to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to dive into the details and get hands-on with data and systems when needed to drive product development and troubleshoot issues.
- Understanding of real-world data (RWD) in healthcare (e.g EHR, claims, imaging, genetics) and its clinical research applications in the life sciences, biopharma, and medical device industries.
- Understanding of methods utilized in the healthcare and life sciences industries to integrate various RWD together for research and analysis purposes – such concepts include privacy-preserving record linking (PPRL), tokenization, and integration of deidentified patient-level data.
- Familiarity with the RWD marketplace for data such as open claims, closed claims, lab results, etc. and how such data is utilized by life sciences organizations to conduct studies and generate real-world evidence.
- Proficiency in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Able to work with teams on west coast hours. We celebrate and embrace a distributed team that works well together remotely and meets at least twice per year in person.

- The base pay for this position is $181,000 to $250,000. The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target. Pay is based on several factors including location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional compensation such as incentive pay and stock options.
