The Role:
We seek an enthusiastic, results-driven candidate to serve as a Director of Product Management within the Retirement team. In this role, you will work with business stakeholders, creative and engineering partners to create compelling, effective, and innovative online experiences that support our Fiduciary Services and Plan Advantage products. In addition to managing a team, you will also help complete the discovery, analysis, and documentation of requirements for our products. You will be responsible for helping define and execute against the short- and long- term product roadmaps. The ability to manage people, communicate clearly with all levels and form strong relationships with stakeholders is critical in this role.
This position is based in our Chicago office. We follow a hybrid policy of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote work.
Responsibilities:
- Help set and execute product strategy – working to define overall product vision and ensuring alignment to overall business objectives/goals.
- Contribute towards the creation of product roadmaps.
- Manage and mentor more junior members of the team.
- Research, design and create new solutions that overcome key challenges our clients are facing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and implement product development strategies and roadmaps.
- Rapidly prototype minimum viable products with a goal of conducting user testing and receiving rapid feedback.
- Analyze customer feedback and usage data to inform product decisions and improvements.
- Manage budgets and resources for product management teams.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors.
- Develop business cases, conduct TAM/SAM/SOM analysis, write 6-pager style documents, and press releases to justify investments in new areas of our business.
Skills and experience necessary for this role:
- 10+ years in a technical product management role.
- 7+ years’ experience managing people.
- 5+ years’ experience in the US defined contribution / 401k market
- Confident self-starter with analytical and strategic capabilities.
- Experience with financial analysis and modeling.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Experience working within an Agile development process.
- Experience working and managing teams in different locations and time zones.
- Proven track record of leading successful enterprise-level product development projects
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to stay current with industry trends and technologies.

Base Salary Compensation Range
$115,815.00 - $208,463.00Total Cash Compensation Range
