Datavant is seeking a visionary leader with a passion for Identity, Access Management and End User Security. As the Director of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and IT Security, you will spearhead the creation and implementation of a world-class IAM program and IT security platform. You will lead a cross functional team transforming our IAM architecture to be scalable and future-ready, ensuring seamless migration and integration across the company. In addition, you'll champion IT security initiatives, safeguarding our workstations, productivity software, and end-user systems. Be a driving force in elevating our security posture and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

You will:

  • Design and execute a comprehensive IAM and IT Security strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to promote IAM best practices and ensure company-wide adoption.
  • Build and lead a high-performing IAM and IT Security team to support the company's growth and security needs.
  • Develop and maintain IAM and IT Security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define IAM and IT Security requirements and integrate with business processes.
  • Evaluate and select IAM and IT Security technologies and tools that align with the company's scalability and modernization goals.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of IAM and IT Security architecture to ensure it meets current and future needs.
  • Foster a culture of security and compliance through regular communication and engagement with employees at all levels.
  • Oversee IT security for workstations, productivity software, and end-user systems to protect against cyber threats.
  • Implement and manage security measures to safeguard company data and assets.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay current with emerging security trends and threats, and ensure the company's security posture remains robust.

What you will bring to the table: 

  • Proven experience in IAM and IT security leadership roles, with a track record of successfully building and managing programs.
  • Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST and HITRUST certification programs.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM and IT Security technologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience with IAM and IT Security architecture design and implementation.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are a plus.

Our compensation philosophy is to be externally competitive, internally fair, and not win or lose on compensation. Salary ranges for this position are developed with the support of benchmarks and industry best practices.

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. The estimated total compensation for this role is $216,000-$280,000 and is inclusive of a bonus component.
