About the Opportunity
The Director of District Partnerships is responsible for developing and expanding partnerships with school districts across California. This position will identify and engage key decision-makers, secure contracts for CSD’s ABA services, and drive the growth of district partnerships. The Director will oversee the full contracting process, from outreach and proposal development to negotiation and execution, ensuring alignment with district needs and funding structures. This role will also maintain a strong sales pipeline, collaborate with internal teams to optimize service offerings, and provide strategic insights to leadership.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to secure contracts with large and mid-sized school districts across California.
- Identify target districts, engage key decision-makers (Special Education Directors, Superintendents, ABA Coordinators), and present tailored service offerings.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and pitch decks that align with district needs and compliance requirements.
- Negotiate contract terms to ensure alignment with district goals, funding structures, and budgetary considerations.
- Meet or exceed quarterly growth and revenue targets, focusing on both new district partnerships and expanding service offerings within existing accounts.
- Conduct proactive outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn to schedule introductory and follow-up meetings.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring consistent activity at all stages, including lead generation, presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Schedule and attend 3-5 district meetings per week to strengthen relationships, assess needs, and uncover new partnership opportunities.
- Represent CSD at educational conferences, district meetings, and industry events to enhance brand awareness and generate leads.
- Work closely with clinical, operational, and finance teams to ensure service offerings align with district requirements and CSD’s capacity.
- Use CRM tools to track outreach activity, pipeline progress, and contract performance.
- Provide regular reports and strategic insights to leadership on market trends, competitive activity, and revenue projections.
- Contribute to the development of marketing collateral and sales strategies that support outreach and engagement efforts.
- Additional job duties as assigned.
