 What will you be doing?

You are passionate about all things data and want to help shape the world of advertising.

As the Director of Media Data Solutions, you will be a strategic leader, driving the adoption and expansion of Circana’s Data as a Service solution across the media ecosystem.  You will serve as a trusted advisor to advertisers and agencies, empowering them to achieve their business objectives through the strategic utilization of Circana data.  Your expertise will be pivotal in unlocking revenue growth through upsells, renewals and new business acquisition.  You have knowledge of data clean rooms and the data ecosystem and understand the value of data collaboration and connectivity.  This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, has experience building SaaS/DaaS and is comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You will play a pivotal role in creating and executing new strategies that drive revenue, forge partnerships, and elevate our data’s value in the ad tech ecosystem.  

Job Responsibilities

  •  Strategic Leadership and Ecosystem Expansion:
    •  Develop and execute strategies to accelerate the adoption of Circana’s DaaS solution within the advertising, agency and platforms landscape
    •  Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients and partners both internal and external, fostering a collaborative consultative environment.
  •  Client Consultation and Solution Development:
    •  Serve as a subject matter expert on Circana data and the broader industry, providing expert guidance and recommendations to clients and partners
    • Lead execution of data-driven marketing program approach across agencies supporting digital directors in the development of data strategies for their client, setting best practice approaches, and educating planning teams
    • Define uses cases to drive adoption of our data through joint client and partner learning agendas
  •  Revenue Growth and Business Development:
    •  Drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on upsell, renewal and new business opportunities
    •  Develop compelling value propositions that showcase the power of Circana data in achieving client and partner goals
  •  Customer Advocacy:
    •  Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring exceptional service and support throughout the client lifecycle with a focus on executional excellence
    •  Proactively address client feedback and concerns, fostering long-term relationships and loyalty
    • Be the internal champion to ensure cross-functional alignment towards operational and executional excellence
    • Lead the development of DaaS education programs & facilitate workshops to engage stakeholders

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in digital advertising sales, ad tech, product marketing or product management or related field
  • Experience working closely & consulting with clients and partners, agencies a plus
  • Data Expertise: Deep understanding of the evolving data ecosystem including Data as a Service, and its role in enhancing media performance for advertisers within data clean rooms and data collaboration platforms
  • Ability to influence complex/technical offerings and advancements with product, translating client needs into new strategy
  • Cross-Functional Leader: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and partner effectively across internal teams, including sales, product and legal.
  • Strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects from inception to completion

This position can be located in the following area(s): Remote, USA.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $110,000.00 - $145,000.00.

This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
