Director – Mergers & Acquisitions Sales Integration - Remote United States

This position will drive successful integration of mergers, acquisitions and third-party portfolios into the Allegion Americas Sales & Field Marketing organization through developing strategy, aligning field execution and developing talent. This position will collaborate closely with Americas SBU Leaders, Americas Sales Leaders and leadership teams of recently acquired businesses. Sales and/or marketing teams of recent acquisitions may report directly into this role.  The role reports to directly to the Vice President of Americas Sales & Field Marketing.

What You Will Do:

  • Partner with various sales and marketing leaders, using industry knowledge, business acumen and AOP goals to develop strategies to achieve M&A revenue targets.

  • Align field execution between acquired company(s) and Allegion Sales & Field Marketing team through influence and successful utilization of internal and external resources such as industry trade associations, data and trends.

  • Using the business case as the guide, optimize the value creation and synergies associated with the acquisition(s).

  • In collaboration with other internal stakeholders, evaluate, develop and acquire talent by utilizing tools, resources and partnerships available.

  • Champion diversity and find opportunities to leverage individual differences and strengths across the business. Promote movement of talent across the enterprise and act as a role model and coach to others in the process.

  • Develop a leadership culture by challenging the team to think with an enterprise perspective, generate innovative ideas to grow the business and build the organization. Identify best practices that can be leveraged across the organization.  

  • Utilize sales and leadership experience to mentor, coach and develop sales teams on both he acquisition and legacy Allegion teams. Responsible for talent acquisition, performance management, talent and employee engagement.

  • Adopt change quickly; develop, embrace and cascade communications regarding change effectively in order to influence sales teams to accept and adopt change quickly. Be a champion of change and proactively identify opportunities and initiate processes to support change effort.

  • Develop standard work as part of AOS for Sales & Field Marketing for both legacy Allegion and acquired employees.

  • Create and maintain a succession plan and strategy for developing key talent.

  • Collaborate with other functions as needed to ensure a successful integration

  • Drive the AOP sales plan, manage costs and budget to meet financial goals of the business case. Manage these strategies through the RSOs to maximize effectiveness and variances in the regions.

  • Ensure employee engagement and support in business initiatives, strategy and overall direction.

  • Develop and manage relationships with other Allegion functional leaders to deliver on corporate strategies and initiatives.

  • Maintain awareness of all Allegion policies, guidelines, and procedures and ensure compliance.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales or related field or equivalent experience; MBA preferred

  • Ten or more years of sales leadership experience including time spent leading other leaders across the organization

  • Understanding of multiple channels (wholesale, distribution, etc.) and go to market strategies

  • M&A integration experience

  • Ability to effectively operate within a matrix environment and collaborate with others across all levels and functions

  • Servant leadership; motivational and vision based leader

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Interpersonal and influencing skills with a bias for action

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools and ability to learn industry specific software

  • Ability to travel 25%

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

  • The expected Base Salary Range: $122,900 – $221,500. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

  • Bonus Eligible: Yes
