The following position is to join our Corporate RTX Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) team:

Role Overview:

RTX Corporation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Infrastructure Leader to oversee and facilitate the technical aspects of our M&A activities.  The successful candidate will not only facilitate the technical aspects of our infrastructure M&A activities, but also act as a service owner, ensuring all deal obligations are met with high-quality throughout the M&A lifecycle.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, with a proven track record in supporting M&A engagements from initial assessment to post-merger integration. This role requires a strategic thinker who can efficiently manage Transition Service Agreements (TSAs) and drive ongoing optimization and efficiency in delivery services.

What You Will Do:

  • Act as a service owner for all IT infrastructure-related aspects of M&A transactions, overseeing the service lifecycle from initial due diligence to post-merger integrations efforts.
  • Govern all EIS merger, acquisition, and divestiture (MA&D) initiatives.
  • Establish and operationalize standardized playbook for MA&D activities.
  • Lead cross-functional team responsible for infrastructure activities throughout transaction lifecycle.
  • Support due diligence, review of transaction documents, transition / integration planning, and execution.
  • Manages MA&D budgets and resource allocation – including securing required investment and maintaining dedicated MA&D support team.
  • Lead the assessment of potential M&A engagements, evaluating the IT infrastructure requirements and identifying integration challenges and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless transition on Day 1 of new engagements, establishing a stable IT environment that supports business continuity.
  • Manage and execute Transition Service Agreements (TSAs) for completed transactions, ensuring that all IT services are delivered in compliance with agreed-upon terms.
  • Drive ongoing optimization and efficiency of IT delivery, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance infrastructure performance and reliability.
  • Work closely with service lines to develop and maintain a consistent and modernized approach to M&A delivery, aligning with RTX's strategic objectives and industry standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the M&A infrastructure team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to communicate IT integration plans, progress, and outcomes, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years experience.
  • Minimum 12 years experience in technical program management. specifically in IT Infrastructure, applications, and or architecture.
  • Minimum 12 years experience leading and managing teams with a mix of operations and continuous service improvement/innovation.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Candidates with previous M&A experience, with an IT focus preferred.
  • Experience with Aerospace and Defense industries, with understanding of technologies and products involved in sector preferred.
  • Understanding of the financial and operational implications of technical decisions within an M&A context.

Work Location: Remote

The salary range for this role is 171,000 USD - 343,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
