Director, Master Data Management & Data Governance Program Manager (Remote)

Salary:  $160,000 - $170,000 + bonus eligible (commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert and advisor on MDM and Data Governance best practices, providing guidance and support to various teams and stakeholders.
  • Aid in the development and implementation of comprehensive MDM and data governance strategies to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across the organization.
  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of MDM systems and processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship and coaching to across the MDM & Governance teams to help build and develop their skills and expertise in this space. 
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of MDM and data governance initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in MDM and data governance, and bring forward relevant innovations into the organization's data management practices.
  • Foster a culture of data stewardship and accountability, promoting the importance of data quality and governance throughout the organization.
  • Assist in development and tracking of KPI’s across the MDM & Governance functions


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in data management, with a focus on MDM and data governance.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing data management programs in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality principles, and MDM technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with data management tools and platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive results.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and adaptability.
