Position Description & Requirements POSITION SUMMARY:The Director of Marketing & Communications drives RP’s mission, values, and brand reputation through high-impact marketing and communications strategies. As the AVP’s strategic partner, this leader develops and executes integrated plans for brand positioning, PR, media relations, and digital presence. Overseeing a high-performing team, they ensure alignment across marketing functions while managing key stakeholder relationships. - Strategic Leadership:
- Partner with the AVP of Marketing & Communications to drive execution and accountability for RP’s initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering collaboration across brand, creative, and digital teams.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executives, operational leaders, and radiologists, ensuring marketing efforts align with business priorities.
- Communications & Marketing:
- Shape RP’s organizational voice, ensuring consistency across owned, earned, and paid media.
- Develop and execute communication strategies for executive alignment, engagement, change management, and crisis response.
- Strengthen RP’s brand through thought leadership, media relations, and strategic storytelling.
- Oversee content and corporate communications to enhance engagement and brand differentiation.
- Manage agency relationships to elevate RP’s visibility and credibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, PR, journalism, or a related field.
- 8+ years in marketing/communications, including 2-3 years in leadership (healthcare experience preferred).
- Corporate and agency experience is a plus.
- Portfolio and work samples required.
