Job Description: Director Marketing Data Analytics Customer Engagement

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Director Marketing Data Analytics Customer Engagement individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel at translating data insights into strategic recommendations. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a small, agile team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Execute custom market research projects following a disciplined framework, while maintaining the flexibility to pivot as needed.
  • Innovate and adapt traditional survey project processes to accommodate new, diverse data types and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate behavioral data and media testing/measurement insights.
  • Lead campaign measurement projects that leverage a cookied approach, bringing a keen understanding of advertising, effective advertisement placement, and the ability to link advertising strategies to campaign performance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with custom market project execution and a flexible approach to process management (i.e., survey development, survey programming, data processing and analysis).
  • Background in media testing/measurement and/or behavioral data analysis (nice-to-have).
  • Strong understanding of advertising and media measurement.
  • Ability to work effectively across teams and systems.
  • Preference for candidates who thrive in dynamic environments over those who prefer large datasets and rigid processes.

Desired Skills:

- Data Analytics: Expertise in anaylzing complex data sets to derive actionable insights and drive business decisions

- Strategic Thinking: Understanding of media activation with the ability to translate data insights into strategic recommendations

- Communication: Excellent communication skills to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders

- Project Management: Skills in managing market research projects involving both primary and behavioural data, ensuring on time completion that is within scope

- Data Visualization: Proficiency with tools like Tableua or Power BI to create clear and impactful visual representations of data

- Programming Languages: Knowledge of languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis would be a plus

- Statistical Analysis: Strong understanding of statistical methods and their application in data analytics

Pay Range: $98,000.00 - $130,000.00

The rate shown represents a relevant range currently in use at Material. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
