TechStyleOS is looking for a Director, Logistics Operations.

How Do You Fit In?

We seek a dynamic Director, Logistics Operations to spearhead and implement our logistics strategy. Reporting directly to the VP of Supply Chain, you will handle intricate, multinational logistics and oversee a diverse team supporting multiple brands. This position emphasizes enhancing continuous improvement, standardization, and efficiency within our logistics network.

Additionally, the Director, Logistics Operations will be responsible for managing relationships with transportation partners to ensure consistent product flow, adapting to evolving regulations and geopolitical changes.

Director, Logistics Operations will report to VP, Supply Chain.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and define the logistics strategy to optimize the global supply chain.
  • Provide clear direction, guidance and mentorship for a team of 10-15 people.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and excellence leading by example.  Coach, develop, and inspire team members to achieve both professional and operational goals.
  • Lead global freight forwarder and transportation (ocean, air, over-the-road and parcel) vendor management.
  • Identify and analyze logistics challenges, establish KPIs, and implement best practices.  Develop and execute action plans to address performance gaps and enhance service levels.
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure the best terms and conditions.
  • Define and execute origin consolidation opportunities and optimize transportation methodologies
  • Provide inbound visibility and shipment receiving priority to our domestic and international fulfillment centers
  • Collaborate and communicate with internal and external partners regarding the effects of transportation; including analysis and information regarding the industry and/or government (foreign and domestic) policies and regulations that may affect the company
  • Working knowledge of Import/Export compliance procedures (US, Canada, and Europe), as well as the rules and regulations of the US Government and their agencies
  • Support the development of a logistics budget and critical, monthly forecast based on relevant leading indicators of practices, costs, and volumes
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Techstyle, the brands and with external partners including suppliers, contract manufacturers, and logistics providers to improve the resilience of the logistics operations
  • Contributes to the supply chain technology and application strategy, solutions, investment roadmap, and execution priorities, aligning them with evolving business goals.

What You Can Bring;

  • Understanding of transportation modes, including ocean freight, air freight, trucking, courier, third-party logistics companies, forwarders, as well as familiarity with international trade regulations and customs procedures
  • Experience working in a global environment with knowledge of international trade regulations and logistics.
  • Must have knowledge of or know how to access reliable information related to duty/VAT rates, country specific regulations, etc.
  • Strong geographical awareness and experience routing international and domestic cargo
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term operational strategies.
  • A self-starter who over-indexes on ownership and accountability with a demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-based environment that is fast-paced and rapidly changing.
  • Someone who pays high attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
  • Problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
  • Experience with merchandising, production, vendor, and store operations a plus
  • Experience with storyboarding and presenting
  • 8-12 years’ experience in supply chain strategy, logistics and/or operations including 5 minimum years in a management role
  • Ability to travel to various sites as needed, determined by operational needs.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $133,100-$170,000. The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate’s related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
