ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are at a pivotal point to deliver quality clinical care in more accessible, scalable, and personalized ways as demand for mental health services continues to rise. As a lead on our LifeStance Labs team, you will be at the forefront of leveraging current and emerging technologies to push mental healthcare forward in the U.S.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader on our LifeStance Labs team, a group within LifeStance’s Technology team, who is passionate about discovering opportunities for technology and data to improve human experience for our patients, clinicians, and support staff. Due to the nimble and future-thinking nature of this work, our ideal candidate is not only empathetic, but innovative, communicative, adaptable, results-oriented, and a systems thinker.
Compensation: $175,000 - 215,000/annually, with additional annual bonus potential
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with our internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify opportunities to inform where we can innovate and experiment with technology and data.
Employ human-centered design and data-driven methodologies to identify user needs and pain points, translating them into innovative product or service solutions.
Identify and address key problems to solve across the business, defining success criteria that meet our company objectives, and generating creative solutions.
Partner with designers, engineers and vendors to develop and refine prototypes that allow us to quickly experiment with new opportunities, while addressing risk and validating desirability and viability.
Lead the design and execution of our experiments to evaluate potential opportunities– focusing on user experience, viability for the business, and risk assessment–by conducting a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods.
Create business cases with clear KPIs and financial models that demonstrate how these potential solutions impact our overall business in revenue and efficiency. Bring these new concepts and opportunities to life through storytelling so our internal stakeholders feel aligned in the value of our work.
Source and evaluate technology solutions to accelerate Lifestance’s development, which may include scouting and managing third-party vendors as part of our experiments.
Stay on top of industry and analogous trends, pushing LifeStance to embrace current and new technologies.
Measure and report on necessary metrics to evaluate success criteria of our experiments.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
10+ years of experience in relevant roles including innovation labs, product strategy, business strategy, design research; must have at least 5 years of healthcare experience, ideally in digital health.
Rigorous business acumen with any of the following relevant experience: operational experience, taking offerings to market, entrepreneurship/intrapreneurship, developing new ventures or offerings.
Excellence in scenario planning, forecasting, and business model development.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated fluency in human-centered design methodologies and working on multidisciplinary, collaborative teams.
Demonstrated experience in developing or managing technology solutions, including AI products.
Experience in client-services or consultative work with experience in leading and managing projects. Familiarity with healthcare regulations, industry standards, and best practices in digital health, data privacy, and security, preferred.
Demonstrates awareness, inclusivity, sensitivity, humility, and experience in working with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, gender identities, and other various aspects of culture.
