• Execute a transformative learning and development strategy aligned with our mission, values, goals, “next practices”, and advances an equitable employee experience.
• Lead the L&D team to build a comprehensive and sustainable L&D experience to deliver inclusive and impactful learning experience for specific target audiences– including but not limited to onsite and remote employees, diverse employee tenure, varying career experience and leadership levels, digital fluency, learning styles, etc.
• Champion creative and inclusive learning modalities, moving beyond traditional models of learning to embrace evolving technology-enabled and experiential learning approaches.
• Build meaningful digital solutions enabled by AI and easy digital design to enable learners at all levels.
• Create sustainable systems that provide meaningful metrics and learning impact assessments to measure and continually improve our Learning + Development.
• Meet and exceed identified L&D targets, goals, and metrics by innovating, taking risks, critically thinking, and establishing credibility as a trusted business advisor across levels within the family of companies.
• Successfully build and lead a high performing L&D team in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing work environment, and foster a collaborative, innovative, and psychologically safe team culture.

Core Responsibilities & Essential Job Functions
- Lead the L&D function and team in the development and deliver an inclusive and equity informed L&D strategy to meet the varying and evolving employee and organizational experience needs.
- Partner with leaders to develop, iterate on, and execute a roadmap for strategic growth, adapting to changing organizational needs and employee insights with agility and foresight.
- Assess and identify learning and development opportunities across the FoC, partnering with key stakeholders and the L&D team to design and deliver engaging and impactful learning programs.
- Manage strategic as well as day-to-day oversight of L&D operations in service to the values, mission, and overall company strategy.
- Ensure timely and impactful learning program delivery through ongoing management of team capacity, strategic roadmaps, and business objectives.
- Develop and deliver programs for skills development, career growth, culture, to maintain compliance, and regulatory & funder requirements.
- Create engaging trainings, including presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, and video content.
- Manage and optimize our LMS and additional training & L&D technology tools.
- Manage the learning and development budget and identify cost-effective training solutions.
- Engineer learning paths in service of human or org evolution. Paths that include but not limited to:
- Strategic, specialized or technical, and foundational competencies.
- Co-created career development guidance from subject matter wisdom.
- A variety of learning opportunities infused with psychological safety, creative, and evidence-based ways to gain knowledge, unrestrained by what has come before or is expected from “traditional” learning.
- Proactively identified opportunities to create programs that support an equity-informed workplace.
- Content created in alignment with our Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion and Accessibility advocacy.
- Ensuring that content is accessible to people with disabilities acknowledging WCAG standards.
- Collaborate with people operations, Marcom (our Marketing & Communications function), and other cross-functional teams to create excitement and awareness of learning and development initiatives, driving employee participation.
- Drive change, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of innovative learning practices across the organization.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement - regularly assessing and enhancing processes, tools, and methodologies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead by example as a coach, actively engaging in the design, development, and delivery of key learning initiatives while providing guidance, support, and mentorship to the team.
- Manage and perform special projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education, Experience & Training Equivalent to:
We believe humans with a diverse range of experiences may be suited for the work at hand. This role will be best suited for someone who has experience with L+D programming, learning tech systems design, and user learning experience design.
- Knowledge in designing, developing, and delivering impactful learning and development programs.
- Experience in training programs that comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Capacity to effectively leading teams, building engaging environments and coaching for career growth.

Physical Requirements:

- Utilize computer and cell phone for effective communication.
Conditions of Employment
- Ability to obtain and maintain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ). The People & Performance Department must analyze DOJ/FBI live scan reports in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, as well as fitness for the position.
- Ability to obtain and maintain clearance through the Office of Inspector General.
- Must attend any required training.
