JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Director of Implementation & Training with deep expertise in WoundExpert and a strong background in professional services, consulting, and SaaS software implementations. This leader will be responsible for driving the successful deployment of our software solutions, ensuring seamless adoption, and optimizing implementation strategies for our clients in the healthcare space.

As a key leader in the organization, you will develop and execute implementation methodologies, lead a team of project managers, implementation trainers, consultants, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance our customer experience. Your expertise in WoundExpert and healthcare workflows will be crucial in ensuring a smooth transition for clients adopting our SaaS platform.

In addition to leading a team, this role will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that align with key business objectives. The Director of Implementation & Training will play a critical role in ensuring client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and stakeholder alignment, while proactively identifying opportunities to enhance value delivery. This role will also provide high-level status updates and insights to both clients and senior leadership, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement in implementation processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Lead Implementations:
    • Own and drive the end-to-end implementation process for our SaaS solution, ensuring successful onboarding and adoption for clients.
  • Develop Best Practices:
    • Define and continuously improve implementation strategies, methodologies, and processes to maximize efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership & Coaching:
    • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of implementation specialists, consultants, and project managers.
  • Client Consultation & Change Management:
    • Act as a trusted advisor for clients, guiding them through the transition from WoundExpert to our SaaS platform, addressing their operational and workflow needs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Work closely with Product, Client Success, and Sales teams to ensure alignment on client needs and product capabilities.
  • Project & Resource Management:
    • Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Data & Performance Analytics:
    • Track key implementation metrics (e.g., go-live success rates, time-to-value, adoption benchmarks) and drive continuous improvements.
  • Client Enablement:
    • Ensure clients are fully equipped with the training, resources, and support needed for long-term success.
  • Industry Expertise:
    • Stay updated on wound care industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to healthcare SaaS implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, Communication, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 7+ years managing large and small software implementation projects, preferably within healthcare providers or health systems.
    • 4+ years of leadership or team management experience, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
    • 3+ years in a client service or technical support role, ensuring successful software adoption.
  • Certifications:
    • Industry-relevant certifications (e.g., Train the Trainer) preferred.
  • Technical & Industry Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of clinical, financial, and analytics software in healthcare.
    • Knowledge of healthcare workflows, SaaS solutions, and EHR/EMR platforms.
  • Problem-solving:
    • Ability to assess client needs and deliver tailored onboarding and training programs.
  • Communication:
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Leadership:
    • Proven experience in team management, performance evaluation, and conflict resolution.
  • Project Management:
    • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, manage multiple projects, and drive operational efficiency.
  • Industry Awareness:
    • Up-to-date knowledge of healthcare technology trends, emerging solutions, and best practices.
  • Travel:
    • Ability to travel up to 25% monthly.

REQUIRED SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Salesforce, Cloud Coach
  • Tableau and Jira preferred
  • Proficient with computer networks and software applications in healthcare settings

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role includes supervisory responsibilities, such as hiring, training, and evaluating staff. The Manager will provide direction, assign tasks, and ensure the performance and development of the team in line with company policies and objectives.

Salary Range: $144,000 - $180,000 USD
