Position Overview: 

Henry Meds is looking for a Director of Growth Marketing with a track record of success in rapidly scaling a subscription business, ideally at telehealth, healthcare, tech, or consumer startups. Candidates should love building and optimizing marketing efforts, focusing on implementation over theory. You are a structured and creative thinker, able to move easily between the big themes and the little details. You love data and customer insights and you can prove your methods work, this includes managing a team of marketing professionals, creating and implementing marketing campaigns, and analyzing market research to identify new opportunities for sustainability and retention.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive growth marketing strategy that aligns with Henry Med’s overall business goals
  • Analyze impact, rapidly testing hypotheses, and conducting data analysis with a goal of constantly improving the metrics
  • Collaborate with channel experts and product marketing, developing a go-to-market marketing plan, considering the market and consumer research, competitor's positioning, and key product attributes and value props
  • Specialize in applying complex/ambiguous data to surface actionable insights and strategies across the customer journey
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new telehealth products and services
  • Launch new and experimental marketing channels in search of sustainable growth
  • Nourish the collaborative partnerships between marketing, product, data, and design at Henry Meds
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, and adjust the marketing strategy accordingly, while also keeping an eye out for opportunities to inject some humor into our approach
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and C-Suite team

You will likely have:

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing with increasing responsibility
  • People management experience overseeing direct reports
  • Direct to consumer marketing experience within a subscription service business model
  • Analytical skills to dig into the details and a capacity for deriving insights to ultimately make recommendations for the business
  • P&L management experience, with the skill set to balance trade-offs
  • Forecasting expertise to appropriately quantify demand-driving tactics into the operational plan
  • Experience managing a marketing budget in the ~$100M/year range and producing quantifiable results 
  • Proven track record of success in marketing management, preferably in the telehealth industry, with a proven ability to infuse campaigns with humor and creativity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for crafting clever headlines and taglines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside of the box and come up with unconventional solutions
  • Ability to think strategically and develop effective marketing strategies, while also keeping things fun and engaging for the team and target audiences

You may have:

  • Prior start-up experience 
  • Telehealth or regulated industry experience 
  • E-Commerce experience 
  • Cross-functional leadership experience (product, legal, data)
  • Understanding of basic Data Science principles that optimize customer segmentation or predictive modeling for retention strategies
  • Experience leading multi-channel growth strategies, including paid media, influencer partnerships, and content marketing
  • Proven ability to implement customer segmentation and personalization tactics to enhance user retention and lifetime value (LTV)
  • Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks and growth experimentation methodologies for continuous optimization
  • Background in developing loyalty programs or rewards systems to increase customer engagement and reduce churn
  • Understanding of customer journey mapping and behavior analysis to identify friction points and improve user experience
  • Expertise in analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude to track and interpret growth KPIs
  • Experience collaborating with product teams to create features that drive retention and engagement
  • Strong understanding of customer feedback loops, with experience in using Net Promoter Score (NPS) and other metrics to inform growth initiatives
  • Knowledge of email marketing automation tools (e.g., Klaviyo, Braze) for lifecycle marketing and retention campaigns
  • Track record of scaling subscription businesses 
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, aligning marketing, product, and customer success efforts towards growth goals
  • Knowledge of sales funnels and conversion-rate optimization on landing pages and sign-up flows

Salary Range: $200-250k

This salary represents Henry Med's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and Henry Meds may ultimately pay more or less than the posted salary. The final salary for this position will be determined by Henry Meds sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee’s work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of Henry Meds business and other operational considerations.
