Director Global Marketing

Join our passionate marketing team and be a critical driver in bringing a new oncology asset to customers worldwide. We are seeking a talented individual to join the team as Global Marketing Director to focus on expanding and growing our product, the first-and-only HIF2 inhibitor, as an impactful approach to cancer treatment. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Work effectively with cross-functional partners including disease and alliance teams, research and development, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, market access, outcomes research, manufacturing, market analytics, international and domestic operations, legal, scientific communications, professional education, training, and development to successfully navigate the internal and external environments and deliver value to our customers.

  • Provides commercial leadership and input in various settings such as product/asset development teams, Key Opinion Leader engagement execution, competitive strategy, target product profile development, health authority interactions, global regulatory filing strategy, launch readiness reviews, organized customer interactions, market research, forecasting and business development & licensing activities.

  • Responsible for maximizing physician acceptance, market penetration, profitability, and new indication launch uptake.

  • Provides leadership, support, and expertise to country marketing teams in collaboration with HHI/International Commercial Operation team

  • Manage and develop 1-2 Associate Directors

The position will require:

  • Outstanding leadership in market assessment, product clinical development, product strategy, market development, thought leader engagement, competitive dynamics, issues management, forecasting, opportunity valuations, resource requirements, and overall flawless launch strategy.

  • Strong collaboration and leadership across large cross-functional teams

  • Dynamic thinking and the ability to manage details for a complex and rapidly evolving marketplace

  • Excellent communication skills that provide clarity and strong motivation to cross-functional teams

Location: Upper Gwynedd, PA or Rahway, NJ - hybrid work model is 3 days onsite/week.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Required: Bachelor's degree

  • Preferred: MBA and/or advanced science degree

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of commercial experience in pharmaceuticals or related area like consulting, agency etc. that would be relevant to the role.

  • Solutions/results-driven, teamwork and collaboration, continuous learning & self development

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and ability to work independently.

  • Excellent project planning & management skills; strong analytical, problem-solving and time management skills; attention to details

  • Works effectively in fast paced and time constrained situations. Proven ability to drive execution.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights in a clear and concise manner.

  • Strong executive presence with ability to handle complex projects.

Preferred Experience:

  • Oncology Experience

  • Experience working with our company's Research Laboratory PDT/Understanding of clinical data

  • Global marketing experience

  • Pharmaceutical product launch experience

  • Market Access experience

  • Country-level marketing experience

  • Proficiency with application of Data, Analytics & Digital tools for marketing of the future

  • People management experience

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, Monday - Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence.This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected US salary range:

$187,000.00 - $294,400.00
