The Synack Finance team drives comprehensive financial planning, forecasting and analysis to enable the company to align its resources with the achievement of its strategic goals- both long term and short term.  The Director of Finance will be a critical part of the senior leadership of the company and will be responsible for all financial planning and analysis and deeply integrated into critical strategic and operational decision making, working closely with the CFO, the executive leadership of the company, the Corporate Controller and all functional areas of the business.

Here’s what you'll do

  • Lead and execute all phases of the Financial Planning and Analysis functions of the company including:
    • Annual Operating Budget
    • Forecasting
    • Operational and Strategic Analysis
    • Long-term Strategic Planning 
    • External Board of Directors, Creditors and Investors Reporting
  • Execute critical financial forecasting models and analysis including: 
    • Scenario models for Forecasts and Budgets
    • M&A models
    • Debt calculations
    • Long term financial projections
    • ROI, NPV, ROIC and WACC calcuations
  • Assist, lead and manage key finance projects and initiatives to drive process improvement and deliver deeper insights on critical business decisions
  • Assist in developing finance & business presentations such as Board of Director presentations.
  • Influence and guide individuals across numerous teams in the business to have a better understanding of finance processes, develop more analytical and data driven decision making, and clearer understanding financial implications of strategic and operational decisions

Here’s what you’ll need

  • 8+ years experience (or equivalent with MBA or other graduate degree) in finance with demonstrated success in financial modeling and analysis.   The ideal candidate should have experience coordinating all financial planning and analysis functions, including annual budget, capital budgeting, long-term strategic planning and resource allocation processes.

    • MBA or equivalent preferred

$180,000 - $250,000 Salary is determined by a combination of factors including location, level, relevant experience, and skills. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. The compensation package for this position may also include equity, and benefits.
