The Director, Digital Marketing, is an experienced digital marketer who is responsible for leading the digital marketing efforts that support the growth of our business and brand. The Director develops strategic and tactical plans that drive sustained profitable business growth including marketing mix, channel-level optimization and testing, customer acquisition and retention. They will partner with other marketing leaders to strengthen brand awareness and affinity and lead the execution of memorable brand experiences through disruptive omnichannel communications, activations, and campaigns.
This position is 100% working in the United States.
What You’ll Do:
- Essential Functions:
- Lead digital strategy, website technology, CRM (Braze) integration, and marketing automation platforms
- Plan and execute web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns
- Manage the Vori website and maintain it, applying industry best practices, including tracking flow and making improvements based on points of friction as revealed by data analytics
- Work collaboratively with Marketing team and social media manager/contractor deploy and oversee social media campaigns
- Implement email marketing campaigns for B2B, B2B2C/D2C campaigns in partnership with Marketing team
- Oversee performance marketing campaigns, including organic search, social, paid search, and paid social advertising
- Lead the technology engines that power our email and demand generation campaigns, marketing analytics and content moderation of our social media sites
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns against our KPIs & ROI (e.g. CAC/LTV)
- Work collaboratively with the Product teams to ensure seamless experience between our digital marketing efforts and product experience, especially with our website
- Brainstorm new creative growth strategies through digital marketing in partnership with Marketing team
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
- Monitor social media and Google Analytics
- Optimize paid advertising campaigns using SEO and other tools
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
- Identify critical conversion points and drop off points and optimize user funnels in partnership with product team
- Provide internal analytic reports on a regular (weekly) basis, especially growth and analytics of campaigns from GA, Thoughtspot, and other reporting tools
- Decide on appropriate placement of paid media ads, especially after researching competitors’ pricing, products
- Manage contractors or vendors related to our digital marketing activities
- Supervisory Responsibilities
- Manage relationships and expectations with third party accounts, such as outside vendors and contractors and any direct reports
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned
Who You Are
- Required:
- Minimum of 5+ years of digital marketing and ecommerce experience, with a demonstrated background in channel management and a track record of driving business growth
- Ability to strategize around customer and member acquisition strategies based on in-depth knowledge of marketing channel dynamics including Search, Affiliates, Social, Media, email and mobile.

Be comfortable participating in weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews to develop proactive and reactionary marketing initiatives

Highly analytical, and comfortable with budget-management experience, setting targets, creating forecasts and scenario-modeling and proficient in tools such as Google Analytics

Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization from external vendors to senior leadership

Work authorization/security clearance requirements:
- Authorized or able to provide required documents to work in United States or Canada.
