Position Overview

As the Director of Digital, you will help transform our digital presence by managing all phases of website optimization from concept development to launch and beyond. You will need to drive the eCommerce business through website development, experimentation, digital marketing, and building new processes. You will excel in understanding and organizing different points of view to agree on a common path forward. At the end of the day, you are passionate about creating the ultimate digital customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build a digital product roadmap in partnership with key stakeholders across the organization
  • Be responsible for quarterly and annual product roadmap development ensuring work aligns the topmost business priorities while meeting customer needs
  • Understand and map important internal participants in the organization, and ensure that they are engaged in the right way
  • Technical fluency; comfort understanding of web architectural concepts, schedule tradeoffs and new opportunities from technical team members.
  • Create and launch the internal processes and best practices for key initiatives like experimentation
  • Summarize projects and initiatives, producing executive-level presentations and communications
  • Make data-informed decisions based on a sound understanding of organizational priorities, customer feedback, analytics, benchmarks, industry reporting and emerging trends
  • Approves business value impacts definition for initiatives and the success of features and enhancements that are delivered

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience with 4+ in leadership
  • Proven product leadership experience as both an individual contributor and a people manager
  • Tenure in digital commerce and building new platforms and processes
  • Experience with all aspects of managing global programs including business process analysis, change management, enablement, and adoption
  • Analytical and data-driven: forecasting and digital analysis experience
  • Experience with retail and digital technologies, media, e-commerce, payments, employee enabling / facing capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leadership ability is required to build a team of high-impact product managers to bring the vision, roadmap and execution to fruition in long-lasting ways, that reflect a deep sensitivity to customer needs.
  • Strong relationship management abilities to manage both intern and external vendors/resources
  • Cross-functional communication expertise is required to break down silos to use ideas and solutions from across the business
  • Thinking outside the box to find innovative and new ways for the team to execute strategies
  • The ability to understand when and how to escalate to leadership to ensure roadblocks are removed for effective decision making
  • A balance of being assertive and open minded

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $154,600 and $250,030. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
