What this position entails

IntelliScript’s Information Technology has been a key part of our success and is critical to our future. In this position, your leadership will be critical to continue to drive our organizational transformation, by advancing our product delivery practices, supporting critical third-party applications, supporting effective management of IT workforce management strategy, budget, and communication practices.

The Director, Delivery Enablement will play a pivotal role in steering the IntelliScript organization toward achieving operational excellence through matured delivery processes and enhanced approaches to key initiatives. Prior experience leading organizational adoption by leveraging the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) as an approach for product development and delivery, as well as complementary project and program management frameworks and tools for management of other key initiatives, will be crucial.  In this role, the ability to influence at all levels of the organization through a combination of deep technical and process knowledge as well as organizational and communication savvy are key to success.  The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering an environment that encourages innovation, process improvement, and organizational change management, ensuring that our delivery teams are well-supported, and our organization continues to realize sustainable growth.

What you’ll be doing

  • Guide and mature organizational capabilities aimed at advancing business agility of product portfolio through formal and informal education, coaching, and consultation, while providing adaptability within the SAFe framework that allows teams to deliver business value without compromising enterprise standards
  • Spearhead the refinement and maturation of portfolio and program management tools and framework, catering to the evolving needs of the organization
  • Establish, benchmark and drive maturity across established metrics focused on business growth through delivery of quality products.
  • Ensure the overall technology budget and organizational strategy are in alignment, and monitor performance against the budget
  • Act in a player-coach capacity, providing coaching and guidance to peers across the organization and delivery teams on an ongoing basis to ensure effective and timely execution of key initiatives
  • Collaborate with peers across IT leadership to ensure the proper structure, roles, responsibilities, and training is in place to set our teams up for success in achieving organizational goals
  • Establish communication goals and processes for internal IT departmental communication, cross-team communication
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-discipline leaders to drive the best business outcomes (Product, Operations, Data, Client Relationship Management, Solutions Consulting, Sales, etc.)
  • Utilize deep knowledge of Jira and its capabilities to enhance our portfolio, program, and project management effectiveness
  • Extend existing third party application support to encompass third-party applications critical to IntelliScript operations

What we need

  • 10+ years of relevant experience successfully leading programs focused on delivering complex product features to market
  • Experience leveraging the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) as an approach for product development and delivery
  • Flexible “can do” leadership style, ability to effectively assesses a situation and use the right tools and influence to drive resolution
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large, complex, enterprise technology initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills that allow for effective, solution focused interactions with teams and leaders at all levels of the organization
  • Proven experience setting and achieving metrics and objectives that are consistent with the organization’s strategy and team financial objectives
  • Ability to navigate difficult situations and surprises with ease through calm, effective communication, collaboration and focus on results

 Location

This role is based out of the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI, but candidates hired into this role may work remotely anywhere in the US. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI as needed.

The salary range for this position is $134,000 - $272,000 depending on a combination of factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, qualifications, certifications, location, etc. In addition, we offer a significant performance-based bonus plan, profit sharing, and generous benefits.
