Summary of Position
The Director, Communications - Hospitals & Health Systems leads strategy and oversees the execution of marketing and communication initiatives to grow Teladoc Health’s business in the hospital and health system (HHS) segment. This role develops and implements strategic communication initiatives to drive awareness, engagement, and growth. The role also leads initiatives to enhance our market presence, including thought leadership and content marketing strategies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies and campaigns targeting hospital and health system (HHS) leadership.
Lead and develop thought-leadership initiatives, leveraging primary and industry research to deliver compelling market narratives.
Create and execute content strategy and messaging frameworks.
Oversee the creation of high-impact marketing materials, such as white papers, reports, and presentations tailored to HHS audiences.
Work effectively in a highly matrixed environment by partnering and engaging multiple teams including events, paid media, PR, creative, corporate communications, marketing operations, and brand to achieve goals.
As a leader on the HHS marketing team, develop annual plan and ad hoc plans as required to achieve desired marketing and communication objectives around awareness, demand gen, lead gen and sales enablement. Establish and monitor KPIs for the marketing plan.
Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the HHS industry, including healthcare providers, advocacy groups, and professional associations.
Manage freelance partners, agencies, and contract partners.

Qualifications Expected for Position
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
8+ years of communications experience, 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role preferred.
Deep understanding of hospital and health system space.
Ability to translate business objectives into marketing and/or communication strategies and oversee execution.
Executive presence, with excellent communication and diplomacy skills for stakeholder engagement.
Strong aptitude for crafting data-driven, audience-centric messages and strategies.
Ability to foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Working knowledge of relevant industry associations, events, sponsorship opportunities.
The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here Teladoc Health Benefits 2025. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
