Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Director, Business Development position at Priority HoldingsInc. You will be responsible for crafting the business development strategy, identifying opportunities, and executing new partnerships for the CFTPay Product Offering for the company. This role requires an individual with a strong background in Third-Party Administration(TPA) to strategically expand the business within the CFTPay infrastructure. You will become the primary face of CFTPay to our potential partners, joining a cross-functional team to build onPriority’s strong foundation, deliver measurable value to the company and its new partners, and help CFTPay better serve its target partners. Reporting to the General Manager of CFTPay, you will play a key role in generating new revenue, executing game-changing partnerships, and expanding existing partnerships. Experience in a TPA capacity, focusing on strategic business development and partnership growth, is essential. Core performance metrics will include revenue, active customers, and relevant partners. This position is full-time.



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Experience working with SaaS products, Java stacks, and REST APIs is preferred. 

  • Experience using JIRA/ Confluence is a big plus. 

  • Experience working in an agile scrum setup, planning sprints, and working closely with engineering and QA teams to help deliver releases to customers will be preferred. 

  • Knowledge or exposure to Balsamiq, Lucidchart, Figma, InVision, Illustrator or other design tools is a big plus. 

  • Experience working with global teams is a plus. 

  • Knowledge of database systems is preferred. Working with and analyzing high volumes of data is advantageous. 

  • Understanding of pricing, compliance / regulatory and reconciliation concepts is a big plus. 

  • Experience in the merchant acquiring / credit card processing industry, preferred (10 or more years). 

  • Possess an innate sense for workable collaboration models, an ability to work effectively in a geographically distributed environment, and to work constructively with developers, QA, Product managers and Management towards a common goal. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional software. 

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills & confident public speaking skills. 

  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for creative solutions through critical thinking and product innovation. 

  • High motivation and desire to do whatever it takes to help the customer, the team and our company succeed.




SKILL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Business Development: Strong background in developing strategy, identifying partners, negotiating agreements, and rapidly scaling partnerships.

  • Relationship Management: Proven track record of exceeding plan, ideally through“land and expand” via broadening partnerships through gaining the trust of external partners over an extended period of time. Demonstrated ability to build cross-functional, internal, and external relationships and influence teams to achieve significant outcomes.

  • Customer Champion: Know the needs, customer journeys through our partners, language, and overall mindset of the SMB and Mid-Market customer segments, and turn those insights into business development strategies that result in significant revenue growth

  • Product Aptitude: Deep understanding of new products/technologies in SaaS, businesssoftware, and B2B payments. Preferred fluency in understanding APIs with the ability to create significant scalable opportunities based on this knowledge.

  • Go-to-Market: Work closely across the team to develop and iterate the partnership and marketing playbooks and tools to drive new business with and through our partners.Work cross-functionally to execute the plan as the company introduces enhancements to existing solutions.




PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Candidates with an MBA preferred.

  • Business Knowledge on financial services domain experiences.

  • Spanish language is a plus.

  • Compensation range: $116k-$180k

Traditional Physical Requirements
