As the Director, Media Analytics, you will lead the development of data-driven solutions for clients – including report automation, analysis, and insight – with the objective of optimizing the performance of media initiatives. You will manage data and insight delivery processes, inspire creativity, and ensure all around team success.
You will be execution-focused, under time timelines, and manage data challenges in all phases of media performance. You will manage complexity while collaborating across teams, experience within a matrixed organization, and comfort with a lean operating environment that highly uses automation.
You will have a natural curiosity, going beyond reporting to peel away the layers of data to suggest constructive tests, advanced analytics engagements, consumer deep dives, and competitive opportunities that help improve business performance on a regular basis. Lead completion of overall media measurement strategy on behalf of clients, including reporting, measurement, learning agendas, and test design. This role is remote-friendly.
Responsibilities:
- You will understand core client business challenges, and develop relevant measurement frameworks that outline measures of success, in-flight optimization levers, and learning priorities
- You will work closely with internal and client teams to identify business needs and analytics opportunities, developing tools, dashboards, and techniques to optimize media performance
- You will guide the creation of reporting through automated processes, efficiently consolidating data from a multitude of sources into a cohesive view of performance
- You will improve the quality of reporting by creating easy to follow weekly or monthly visual dashboards that key stakeholders will utilize on a regular basis to make informed business decisions
- You will ensure alignment between day-to-day analytics support & approved measurement frameworks
- You will prepare and deliver executive-level presentations for internal and external audience
- You will participate in team-wide culture of learning by staying current on current industry trends, developments in methodologies and technologies
- You will manage/mentor junior team members
- You will offer thought leadership in the best practices of the utilization of data, analytics and insights to optimize and enhance the client's business
Qualifications
- You will have aBachelor's Degree is required in Statistics, Economics or related a quantitative field
- You will have at least 8 years of relevant Media or Analytics experience required
- You will report to a VP, Analytics.
- You will have an understanding of digital planning and buying, with a focus on standard media metrics
- You will have experience aggregating data from multiple sources
- You will have experience with data from digital media platforms (e.g. DCM, SA360, TTD, FB, etc.) preferred
- You will understand of digital tagging, tracking, QA, and maintenance
- You will have knowledge of Google Analytics/Omniture, Datorama, Tableau, Google Data Studio, or any similar dashboard products
- You will have knowledge of digital attribution methods, marketing mix modeling, measurement frameworks, KPI discovery, tracking implementation preferred
The annual salary range for this position is $113,000-$182,850. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
