Reporting to the Sr. Digital Success Manager (Sr. DSM), the Digital Success Manager (DSM) is responsible for partnering with the Sr. DSM to produce high-quality video content, manage and execute the Customer Success webinar program, and consult on Ciena Community efforts that advance Customer Success Operation’s strategic business goals. The DSM will work closely with internal teams to develop engaging visual assets and maintain digital storytelling integrity across various digital platforms.

Key accountabilities

Webinar Creation & Production

  • Work collaboratively with the Sr. DSM to create the schedule, strategy, and plan for the webinar program
  • Prep guests with expectations, rules, guidelines, scheduling, scripts, etc. to create internal & external webinars
  • Interview guests on live webinars internally & externally
  • Responsible for supporting the creative vision and strategy to continually grow the Customer Success Webinar Program

Video Editing & Post-Production:

  • Work with the various internal teams to create engaging video series, highlight reels, and promotional assets
  • Edit and produce high-quality video content for the Ciena video program
  • Optimize video content for various platforms, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines

Workflow Optimization & Collaboration:

  • Streamline in-house editing workflows for efficiency and scalability
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align video content with brand messaging and strategic objectives
  • Provide creative input on video projects, ensuring alignment with campaign goals and audience engagement

Ciena Community:

  • Participate in the strategic vision for Ciena Community growth
  • Participate when necessary to drive awareness and engagement within the Ciena Community platform
  • Drive overall KPI’s for maximum internal & external engagement

 

What you need

  • Preferred degree or certificate in video or film production; and/or a degree in marketing; or a similar combination of education and relevant work experience
  • 2+ years of experience leading and producing webinars for maximum audience enjoyment & participation
  • 3+ years of experience working in video production or in creative agency production teams
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects with stakeholders
  • Experience with digital asset management would be valuable
  • Strong knowledge of video editing within the creative production process and best practices
  • Ability to manage a creative production from brief, to ideation, execution, and wrap
  • A demonstrated passion for creative storytelling and innovation in video & webinar production
  • A strong sense of ownership and the ability to influence creative outcomes without direct authority
  • Ability to manage multiple high-profile production projects simultaneously and prioritize competing demands
  • Strong communication and writing skills for a variety of audiences
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and make informed editing decisions that align with brand goals
  • Ability to work under pressure, thrive in fast-paced environments, and think on your feet
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage critical project opportunities and risks, mitigate issues, dependencies, and scope changes
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders across teams
  • Microsoft Office suite proficient
  • Experience and understanding of the Telecom industry preferred

 
The annual pay range for this position in the USA is $60,200 - $96,200

Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.

Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
