About the Opportunity:
As a Cloud Engineer (Experienced), you will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining robust cloud solutions that leverage serverless technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance optimization of CMS and Search infrastructure. Additionally, you will contribute to the automation of deployment workflows, ensuring security and compliance.

What You Will Do:
Design, implement, maintain, and refine infrastructure on cloud platforms with a focus on AWS.
Leverage serverless technologies to build and manage scalable cloud solutions.
Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless integration of software with cloud services.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing of infrastructure.
Implement and maintain Container Infrastructure
Ensure security and compliance of cloud infrastructure.
Participate in On-Call rotations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
3 to 5+ years’ experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on serverless computing and infrastructure provisioning.
Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
Proficient in AWS cloud infrastructure and experience with other cloud platforms a plus (e.g. AWS).
Proficient in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform).
Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g. GitLab).
Experience with database platforms (e.g. MySQL).
Unix/Linux experience.
Experience with ECS/EKS
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Exceptional communication and teamwork skills (i.e. Team First).
Willingness to continually learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Additional Preferred Skills and/or Experience desired:
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Bash, AWS CLI)
Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices
Experience preferred with enterprise CMS platforms such as Sitecore or similar.
Experience a plus with enterprise Search platforms such as Solr or similar.

The hiring range for this position is $90,200 - $123,970 annually.
For candidates outside Richmond, VA, listed hiring and salary ranges may be adjusted based on your geographic location.
Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
