Digital Marketing Manager, Paid Search

This is a REMOTE position, however we're hiring this person on the East Coast of the United States / Eastern Time Zone.

As we continue to grow throughout North America, we continue to develop and improve the presence and awareness of our brand. This role is DTC focused and sits within the global Digital Marketing function in the wider Ecommerce team.
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Paid Media Manager to join our team. This individual will specialize in managing paid media campaigns across PPC, Shopping, Display, Retargeting, and upper-funnel Programmatic advertising. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital advertising with specific expertise in the US market, driving growth and performance through strategic ad placement, optimization, and audience targeting.
In this role, you will be responsible for executing and optimizing paid campaigns across various platforms to increase brand visibility, engagement, and conversions. You’ll also collaborate with cross-functional teams including Creative, Data, and Strategy to align paid media efforts with broader marketing objectives.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving online traffic, improving conversion rates, focusing on ROAS and enhancing the overall online presence of a retail brand. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong commercial and analytical skills, creativity, and the ability to stay ahead of industry trends.
You'll be:
Paid media management:
- Developing and execute effective paid media campaigns across multiple platforms (Google suite, Bing etc.).
- Conducting keyword research, refine ad copywriting
- Overseeing Google Shopping campaigns, ensuring accurate product feeds and optimizing for maximum performance
- Analyzing product-level performance data and adjust bidding strategies to improve product visibility and conversions
- Leading the strategy and execution of programmatic advertising campaigns for upper-funnel awareness and customer acquisition
- Managing the paid media agency day to day and ensure close budget management to maximize ROAS and share of voice, taking into account our growth opportunities, sharing trading and commercial information as needed
- Ensuring customer journeys are optimized to the channel
- Proactively giving actionable recommendations based on data and facilitate the agency to act accordingly
- Collaborating with creative and product teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across search channels
US and CA Market Focus:
- Applying deep knowledge of the US and CA markets to create and execute paid media strategies tailored to local consumer behaviors and trends
- Conducting in-depth market research to understand regional preferences and effectively target US-based and CA-based audiences
- Analyzing and interpret US market-specific data to inform campaign strategy and improve performance
Analytics and Reporting:
- Continuously monitoring and analyzing campaign performance, generating insights and making real-time adjustments to improve performance
- Providing detailed reporting on key metrics (CPC, CPM, CPA, ROAS) to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Collaborating with internal teams to create high-impact creatives and ensure accurate tracking and attribution
- Using A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other methodologies to optimize ad creatives, copy, and landing pages
- Ensuring comprehensive reporting and effective measurement of paid media performance
- Understanding trends in these fields to ascertain benchmarks and our performance against those
Budget Management:
- Monitoring campaign spend in real-time and make necessary adjustments to maximize results
- Reporting on budget performance to leadership, highlighting key spend trends, opportunities, and challenges Work with Head of Digital Marketing to develop monthly and quarterly budget forecasts and track performance against budget to ensure targets are met
Collaboration and Team Leadership
- Working closely with the broader ecommerce team and marketing team to align digital strategies with overall marketing goals
- Leading and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth
- Staying current with industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure our strategies remain cutting-edge
- Collaborating with external agencies and vendors as needed to execute marketing initiatives
You'll have:
- 5-8 years working experience in this field, preferably in retail or from agency background
- Experience with ad copywriting, targeting strategies, and campaign management
- Strong understanding of website analytics and conversion tracking
- Excellent communication, project management skills and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proven success in managing substantial budgets
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, etc
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets, ability to present these clearly
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
