As a Digital Marketing Director focused on Strategy and Paid Media, your primary responsibility will be to drive continued growth of cross-channel Digital Marketing solutions, via the acquisition of net new clients and as a contributor to the expansion of existing clients. You have in-depth expertise in holistic digital marketing strategy and related methodologies, as well as advanced competencies in a wide range of marketing channels including a particular depth of knowledge in Paid Media. You are a strong presenter who can competitively position Perficient’s digital marketing solutions and actively converse with digital marketing executives about the latest trends in varied marketing channels including paid media, marketing technologies, customer acquisition, customer experience and related business performance. A critical part of this role will focus on how to uniquely showcase, integrate and jointly deliver Perficient’s digital marketing services within the context of broader Perficient digital transformation solutions. You will also help drive the vision and prioritization for developing new digital marketing strategy and paid media capabilities that Perficient can effectively bring to market as the digital marketing landscape continues to evolve.

The Digital Marketing Director will also be responsible for overseeing Perficient’s Digital Marketing Strategy and Paid Media teams, ensuring that they are executing on our commitment of high-quality delivery excellence, developing strong client relationships, and ensuring satisfaction that drives repeat business.

  • Drive sales growth for Digital Marketing, acting as an expert in Perficient’s Digital Marketing cross-channel solutions to pitch and win business with an emphasis on strategy and paid media opportunities.
  • Be instrumental in creating initial and ongoing actionable, billable strategies for key sales opportunities and strategic accounts.
  • Lead and manage the Perficient Digital Marketing Strategy and Paid Media teams, including ensuring that the teams adhere to our defined operational and delivery quality standards.
  • Manage and develop direct reports by providing career development plans, regular reviews, coaching and real-time feedback on work and engagements.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive knowledge for the latest trends, capabilities, methodologies and strategies across the digital marketing landscape. 
  • Collaborate on final stages of new business pursuits for scope and deliverable validation, resourcing, and timelines.
  • Plan and develop new digital marketing strategy and paid media capabilities to bring innovative solutions to market, ensuring Perficient remains ahead of industry trends.
  • Develop and share compelling thought leadership content to drive sales pipeline value and close rates.
  • Manage resource allocation and staffing, revenue realization, and weekly/monthly revenue forecast.
  • 10+ years of comprehensive, hands-on cross/omni-channel digital marketing experience with a strong emphasis on strategy planning and development. 
  • 5-8 years of experience executing or managing teams in Paid Search, Media and Shopping within Google and Microsoft Ads.
  • A history of developing integrated digital marketing and Paid Search and Media programs for clients ranging from mid-market to enterprise and spanning B2B, B2C, Ecommerce, and Retail. 
  • In-depth knowledge of Search Ads 360, Adobe Advertising Cloud or similar campaign management platforms, as well as Paid Search automation. 
  • Proven success architecting, selling and managing agency/consultancy solutions and programs into enterprise-scale accounts.
  • Excellent client communication, storytelling and presentation skills including the ability to develop differentiated and competitive pitch/proposal narratives.
  • Superior problem solving, organizational, decision-making, written, oral and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient or functionally familiar in one or more enterprise DXP platforms (Adobe, Salesforce, Sitecore, etc) as well as common MarTech platforms (Marketing Automation, CRM, Digital Media, Social Media, etc)
  • Experience producing project estimations, scope definitions, resource allocation and project timelines in pre-sales efforts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in digital strategy, marketing, customer experience, paid media, or similar field. 
  • Must possess strong collaboration and analytical skills. Growth-oriented mindset is a must.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $81,978 to $178,090. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
