About the Role

Rocket Lawyer is seeking a Digital Marketing Designer/Senior Digital Marketing Designer to help evolve our digital acquisition and retention experiences and deliver against our critical business priorities.  

This leader will have a deep understanding of Rocket Lawyer’s target customers, our brand guidelines and visual identity and how to create digital marketing experiences that break through the clutter and efficiently acquire and engage new potential customers and existing members.  

You will work with the best in the industry, and we need you to bring your creativity, imagination, strategic instincts and energy to this critical position. To be successful, you’ll need to be  skilled at cross-functional collaboration, managing project milestones and deadlines, using data to guide design decisions, and creating digital marketing programs that are consistent across the customer journey.

This role involves close collaboration across the growth and marketing team, product managers, business stakeholders, and other marketing and product designers.

Responsibilities

Design Cohesive, Scalable, and Brand-Aligned Acquisition & Retention Experiences

  • Collaborate with the marketing creative team in developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Oversee the creation and optimization of Meta and Google Ads, email / sms campaigns and organic social assets to ensure alignment with overall marketing strategies.
  • Work with development teams to deliver modular, scalable CMS components that align with design specifications for consistency across the end to end experience. Provide necessary assets, documentation, and design system guidelines to ensure seamless integration and a smooth user experience from a product page to checkout.
  • Ensure that the design of the end to end experience aligns with our brand voice, positioning, and tone, creating a cohesive and consistent experience across all touch-points.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in digital marketing and brand design and B2B SaaS, bringing new ideas and innovative solutions to the table.

Using Data and Context to Drive Marketing Design

  • Leverage user research to continually improve the end to end experience. Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) that directly influence acquisition and retention performance (e.g., click through rates and cart abandonment rates, etc.) and use those insights to improve effectiveness of our acquisition & retention programs..
  • Use behavioral data analysis tools such as Google Analytics or FullStory to analyze heatmaps, session recordings, and digital ad performance to pinpoint where users are hesitating or abandoning the process, and then make targeted design improvements based on these insights in collaboration with product design. 
  • Segment users based on behavior, type, demographics, or source and tailor designs accordingly for each segment, optimizing the experience for various customer profiles.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the growth and marketing team (acquisition, lifecycle marketing, product marketing, brand design and integrated marketing), product designers and business stakeholders to create multi channel marketing programs that align with business goals and customer needs.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, designing breakthrough creative that drives customer engagement and conversion.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a creative role, preferably within B2B or B2C technology or a related industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Interaction Design, Marketing/Business or a related field.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing innovative campaigns and creative work that delivered acquisition growth and retention improvements
  • Design concepts and layouts that balance art, copy, and brand identity
  • Proven experience designing ad, email and web content / creative
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with web design principles and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Excellent understanding of branding, visual storytelling, and digital marketing concepts.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas effectively.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and an ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English, with outstanding communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of legal processes, terminology, and the challenges faced by customers within the legal tech space. Experience in the legal tech or highly regulated industries is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers.
  • Prior experience creating and maintaining brand identity across all areas of customer experience including product design
  • Prior experience supporting internal facing design assets (e.g. presentations, product vision visualizations, and employee branded items)
  • Working knowledge of UX design principles and collaborating with product designers

Actual compensation packages are determined by various factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, specific work location, and performance during the interview process.
