Ragan Communications is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Digital Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our Asana project management platform, ensuring that projects are efficiently tracked and completed. Additionally, you’ll handle basic website updates and serve as a secondary support for our virtual conference producer.

This role is ideal for a proactive individual who is eager to join a growing events and media company, with a strong desire to learn about our processes and contribute to the seamless operation of our digital tools and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
Asana Project Management:
  • Oversee and upkeep the Asana project management system.
  • Ensure precise project tracking, timely completion of deadlines, and team accountability.
  • Create new projects to coincide with the launch of new events and conferences.
  • Provide training and support to team members on Asana best practices.
  • Regularly review and optimize workflows in Asana to improve efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Website Updates:
  • Perform routine website updates, including content changes and image updates.
  • Collaborate with the content and design teams to guarantee websites are up-to-date and aligned with current campaigns.
  • Monitor website performance and report any issues to the technical team.
Virtual Conference Support:
  • Provide backup assistance for the virtual conference producer.
  • Assist with the setup, management, and troubleshooting of virtual events, specifically using Zoom.
  • Ensure smooth operation of all virtual meetings and conferences in the primary producer’s absence.
Support for the Creative Director:
  • Assist the Creative Director by obtaining quotes from printers and vendors in preparation for events.
  • Coordinate with printers to ensure materials are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
  • Support the creation and formatting of PowerPoint presentations, ensuring they are visually appealing and aligned with branding guidelines.
  • Help in the creation and management of Google Ads, including drafting ad copy, selecting keywords, and monitoring performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with Asana project management tool.
  • Basic understanding of website content management systems (CMS) and HTML/CSS.
  • Hands-on experience with Zoom, including setting up and managing virtual meetings and events. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
