AWS Systems Developer Analyst (Remote)
Full-time, Atlanta, United States

The AWS Systems Developer Analyst II position will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of all native AWS applications and on-premise to cloud migrations.  This individual must maintain effective customer (Internal) relationships; as well as effective communication and coordination with various other technology groups (at both Divisional and Corporate levels).  The AWS Systems Developer Analyst II is expected to be able to analyze, design, code, test, and implement large projects and troubleshoot any cloud-hosted, cloud-native, or cloud service environment. They will also play a key development role in design, conversion, and migrating on-prem existing platforms to cloud services or cloud-native environments.  This position will require an understanding of native cloud platforms in AWS.  

As an AWS Systems Developer Analyst, you will

• Design, code test, and implement cloud-based application systems to meet management objectives
• Perform native cloud functions in AWS
• Read technical systems design and requirements document and convert design to code
• Be responsible for developing new or migrating existing applications to the native AWS Platform
• Be responsible to run small to medium projects, including defining scope, business requirements, technical design, development, implementation, and support
• Communicate with the director of software development, product manager, and customers about change requests and understand their needs

About you

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required
• Previous native AWS-based application development experience
• Experience with the core AWS services
• Prior JavaScript experience
• In-depth knowledge and experience working with AWS services: API Gateway, S3, EC2, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudWatch, etc
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-a-Code with one or more of the following infrastructure provisioning & configuration management tools: AWS Terraform
• Previous complete SDLC experience
• Enterprise Level RDBMS(PostgreSQL) to include modeling, normalization, and design

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of AWS Systems Developer Analyst is between $101,000 and $110,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.
