Development Product Owner

TSPi is actively seeking a Development Product Owner to join our team and support our government client. TSPi excels in meeting the needs of our partners (clients) by offering advanced technology solutions utilizing our industry specific knowledge, iterative Agile approach, our commitment and passion to serve, collaborative and fun team atmosphere, and pride in our work. Our Dev Product Owner position helps translate the business need into Team level, actionable Stories, broken out from Epics/Features. You will help guide and assist our partners in prioritization, Story acceptance, and creation.

Position Description:

• Participate in Team and ART level ceremonies including, but not limited to;
• Backlog refinement
• Daily stand-up meetings
• Demos
• Iteration planning
• Planning Increment Planning sessions
• You will get to serve as an interface between the Agile Team and the government
• Translating the technical aspects into business context
• Work alongside the Agile Team to bring the customer requirements to fruition
• Work with other product partners to provide input into:
• Roadmap
• Planning
• Team-level prioritization

Education and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job-related experience required
• Prior experience working in an Agile environment

Preferred experience:

• Two plus years in software engineering with a focus on product ownership, product management or business analysis
• SAFe PO/PM certification
