Salary Range: $135,000 – $145,000

Position Overview
Viderity is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Project Manager to support large-scale, technical, and IT-driven projects. This role will work closely with project leadership and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery, adherence to scope, schedule, and budget, and alignment with organizational objectives. This is a remote position based in the Washington Metropolitan Area, with occasional travel required to client or project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily operational support to the Project Manager and project teams.
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Assist in risk management, issue tracking, and escalation as needed.
- Prepare project reports, dashboards, and other documentation for project status and decision-making.
- Facilitate project meetings, document meeting minutes, and track action items.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Support communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to project staff.
- Maintain project documentation and compliance with client and internal policies.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in project management, program coordination, or similar roles.
- Proven experience supporting or managing large-scale technical or IT-driven projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid environments).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools (such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance (if required).
- Ability to travel to client or project sites when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, CSM, or other Project Management certifications.
- Experience working in a government contracting environment.
- Experience supporting digital services, software development, or IT modernization programs.
Compensation & Benefits
