As Demand Planning Analyst you will be responsible for daily activities required to support demand management. You will be responsible for demand control activities (cleaning and filtering history, forecast consumption, abnormal demand) and processes. You will compile raw input, historical data, and trend information to deliver raw forecast and market input for further processing by the demand team under the direction of the lead demand planner or manager for the area of responsibility (business segment, product line, specific geography).  As well as provide timely reports, populates dashboards with metrics, maintains system parameters as directed.

Responsibilities:

  • Understands source of demand
  • Collect and analyze demand data and provide input for the demand management process and communicate output or changes.
  • Manages & Develops an accurate demand forecast at appropriate levels for the 1-36month Demand
  • Works with other regions on cross-regional demand
  • Create statistical forecasts under direction of the demand planner or manager and maintain forecast parameters, consumption history, product groups, etc
  • Monitor forecast performance, track demand and variances for follow up by the Demand Planner or Demand Manager.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales and customer service to collect customer provided forecasts.
  • Work closely with sales to collect sales input and communicate output from demand plans
  • Participate in weekly/monthly demand meetings and reviews.
  • Update forecasts and demand plans, and implement actions for improving plan information, root cause identification and tracking and update metrics and dashboards
  • Publish demand information including plans, reports, and metrics
  • Follow-up on actions from the S&OP process & communicates impact on demand
  • Communicates any allocations to commercial team

Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience in an analytical data position.
  • Demand planning experience is required.
  • Strong excel skills.
  • SAP experience would be highly desirable or similar ERP system.
  • Planning system experience e.g. INFOR etc.
  • Great communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proactive approach to work, actively seeking solutions.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills.
  • Logical thinker who can identify, articulate, and resolve data related issues.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $73,500.00 and $102,900.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law. Apply
