About the Team:

We’re a collaborative, experiment-driven demand gen team building something new at SmartAsset. It’s a great time to join us—there’s a big opportunity ahead, and you’ll work closely with a team that’s excited to grow and build together.

About the Job:

As Demand Generation Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving more MQLs, optimizing conversion rates, and bridging the gap between marketing and sales. You’ll own the day-to-day management of demand gen campaigns, while also working closely with sales to develop high-impact marketing and sales enablement materials, including ads, email nurtures, messaging, and enablement decks.

This role is 70% execution, 30% strategy, meaning you’ll be hands-on in campaign execution while also ensuring sales has the right tools and content to effectively convert MQLs into revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Run marketing campaigns and other growth initiatives end-to-end
  • Own and manage day-to-day demand generation campaigns across paid search, LinkedIn Ads, email nurture, ABM, and sales enablement to increase MQLs.
  • Develop and optimize lifecycle marketing collateral, including email nurtures, sales messaging, ads, and enablement decks to support both marketing and sales teams.
  • Bridge the gap between marketing and sales, ensuring a seamless lead flow, aligned messaging, and high-quality marketing materials that drive conversions.
  • Improve sales enablement efforts, creating resources that help sales teams nurture and close leads more effectively.
  • Analyze and report on campaign performance, using Salesforce, Tableau, and Mixpanel to track ROI, pipeline influence, and key KPIs.
  • Test and scale ABM campaigns, personalizing outreach for high-value advisors to improve engagement and conversions.
  • Support content strategy for demand generation, working on ad copy, email sequences, and messaging frameworks to improve campaign effectiveness.

Skills/Experience you have:

  • 3-4 years of demand generation experience, preferably in B2B SaaS
  • Proven experience with paid media (Google, LinkedIn), ABM, and sales enablement
  • Strong ability to collaborate with sales, developing lifecycle content and sales materials to improve conversion rates
  • Hands-on experience managing campaigns and measuring performance with Salesforce, Tableau, Mixpanel, or similar tools
  • Deep knowledge of lead generation best practices, including MQL optimization and lifecycle marketing
  • Creative and strategic thinker, able to develop compelling marketing collateral that resonates with financial advisors

Skills/Experience preferred:

  • Experience with marketing automation, lead scoring, and attribution modeling
  • Background in fintech or financial services marketing
  • Experience creating marketing assets (e.g., slide decks, ad creatives) using tools like Canva or AI-powered design platforms—no graphic design required, just the ability to produce polished, marketable materials.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
