Database Developer

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong database development background, focusing on writing complex queries, stored procedures, ETL processes, and supporting third-party applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support data-driven applications and provide technical assistance to end users.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to facilitate data integration from various sources.
• Collaborate with application developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide efficient database solutions.
• Support and maintain third-party applications, ensuring smooth operation and resolving issues as they arise.
• Work closely with end users to provide technical assistance and training related to database applications.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for database structures and processes.
• Review user and technical documentation written by others to confirm consistency with data operations. 
• Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with programs.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or two or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools and processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work directly with end users.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Familiarity with C#, LINQ, and JavaScript.
