POSITION OVERVIEW

Fidelity National Financial (FNF) is looking for an experienced and innovative Database Architect to join our Corporate IT division to help define best practice for performance, availability, recoverability, and security for our data solutions and utilities. LOCATION

• This position can sit 100% remote with 5% travel potential.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for testing out new data solutions for viable use within the enterprise.
• Documents database system designs, configurations, and operational procedures to ensure cross organizational alignment on changes to system architecture.
• Monitors database performance, implements changes, and applies new patches and versions when required.
• Evaluates and selects appropriate database technologies and open-source solutions based on project goals and security requirements.
• Develops database security measures and policies, including access controls, encryption, and auditing to protect sensitive data.
• Works with several development teams on multiple projects to provide consultation, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and/or design as needed.
• After hours on-call work will be required as needed to troubleshoot production issues.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
• Requires 10+ years of database architecture experience.
• Multi-cloud experience
• Architecture expertise in the following areas: Design, Security, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Backup and Recovery in other data solutions (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres)
• General familiarity with Azure as a whole (Deployment, Security, Networking, etc.)
• Expertise in Database Development (ETL, OLTP, OLAP)

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience with Azure Purview, Collibra, Alation, Varonis or other data catalog/scanning solutions.
• Data Mapping, cataloging, and classification experience
• Experience in SQL server architecture (versions 2016 R2 or greater)
• Experience in Databrick, Azure SQL Synapse or other Azure data analytics/science tools.
• Azure SQL, Data Lake, Data Factory, Cosmos DB, and Power BI experience
• PowerShell scripting experience
• Strong understand of ITIL practices and ServiceNow (or equivalent ITIL ticketing system)

This remote position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $120,000 - $150,000 based on location and job-related factors such as skillset and experience. The base salary is …
