The PositionWe are looking for a passionate, hard working person to be our next great Data Visualization Analyst.   This person will help drive our clients’ business decisions by creating dynamic and powerful data visualizations. The employee will work directly with customers who range from small independent companies to large financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and create interactive visualizations that can be used by non-technical users up to the executive level
  • Break the Excel mentality and build trust through intuitive and accurate reporting
  • Work both individually and on teams to deliver across multiple clients
  • Document business requirements and translate into technical specifications
  • Understand business process and advocate for opportunities for improvement
  • Extract and prepare data for analysis across multiple platforms (Database Connections, Excel, Flat Files, etc)
  • Deliver Tableau Desktop and/or PowerBI trainings to clients
  • Contribute to our research and development efforts
  • Communicate results clearly to all stakeholders, facilitators and partners
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 2-5 years experience in Business Intelligence/Analytics
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years using both PowerBI and Tableau data visualization tools
    • PowerBI - PL-300 Certification or higher, experience with DAX formulas
    • Tableau - Certified Desktop Specialist or higher, experience with LODs
  • Driven self-starter with a positive attitude
  • SQL knowledge and an understanding of data models
    • Ability to perform queries to explore data and validate dashboard results
  • Comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical collaborators
  • Demonstrated critical and analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to scope requirements and translate to BI deliverables 
  • Proven ability to juggle competing priorities
