About the role
This position is 100% remote. Responsibilities
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product owners to understand, propose, and implement actionable, explainable algorithms and models.
Work on large scale real-world health data, cleaning and connecting data across products, operations, and finance to deliver actionable insights to internal and external customers.
Design and develop AI/ML statistical models with un/structured data at a national scale to improve clinical outcomes and processes.
Forecast and identify key drivers of healthcare utilization, product demand, and recommend proactive steps to optimize manufacturing processes.
Create compelling visualizations, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Required Experience
Master’s degree in a quantitative field. (Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics or similar).
3+ years of professional experience working with healthcare data.
Deep understanding of research methods, experimental design, and statistics.
Keen understanding of when a business problem requires development of an advanced AI solution.
Proficient in SQL, Git, and either Python or R.
Experience working with big data in cloud environments.
Experience measuring and monitoring data validity, accuracy, consistency, timeliness, and relevance.
Strong oral and written communication skills, keen attention to detail and deadline driven.
Innate curiosity and a track record of independently developing and deploying predictive models that deliver measurable business value.
Preferred Experience
Experience with AWS and/or Snowflake infrastructure and tools.
Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
Experience managing and tracking project progress and updating senior leadership.
PhD in a quantitative field.
