A Brief Overview
The Data Quality Manager is an individual contributor role and responsible for overseeing data quality management and improvement initiatives, developing and implementing data quality standards and procedures, and coordinating with IT and business units to ensure data accuracy and consistency. The role is pivotal for maintaining the integrity of data across the organization.

What you will do

  • Data Quality Management
  • Develop and implement data quality management processes.
  • Monitor and report on data quality metrics and KPIs.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Policy Development & Implementations
  • Define and enforce data quality policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Implement quality monitoring mechanisms
  • Data Analysis
  • Perform statistical tests on large datasets to determine data quality and integrity.
  • Conduct data profiling and data cleansing activities.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with business units, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure data quality initiatives align with business objectives.
  • Promote data quality awareness and best practices across the organization.
  • Facilitate cross-functional team meetings to discuss and resolve data quality issues.
  • Risk Management
  • Identify data-related risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure data quality practices support data privacy and security requirements.
  • Documentation & Training
  • Document data quality processes, standards, and decisions.
  • Provide training and guidance on data quality to team members and stakeholders
  • Provide expertise and guidance on data quality best practices.
  • System Improvement
  • Collaborate with database developers to enhance data collection and storage processes.
  • Evaluate system performance and design to improve data quality.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. 

Experience Qualifications

  • Typically 8+ years of experience in data quality, data analysis, or a related field 

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of data quality management, data governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Proficiency in programming languages and statistical packages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, SAS). 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to effectively communicate information 
  • Experience working with domain structures; conceptual, logic and physical. 
  • Experience in a specific industry (e.g., finance, healthcare, HR) with relevant regulatory knowledge. 
  • Familiarity with data privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 

Licenses and Certifications

  • Certification in data quality or data governance (e.g., DCMP, DGSP) a plus

The salary range for this role is $76,000 to $182,400. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
